O objetivo deste artigo é compreender, por meio dos discursos de três homens professores da Educação de Jovens e Adultos, os modos como a masculinidade hegemônica atuou em seus processos de subjetivação. Pretende-se revelar a negação da sensibilidade como dimensão essencial da pedagogia da masculinidade, apontar as ambiguidades das experiências corporais no processo de tornar-se homem e, por fim, desvelar os enfrentamentos vividos pelos participantes, relativamente à masculinidade no processo de construção da identidade docente. A pesquisa é qualitativa, com enfoque exploratório. Adotam-se entrevistas semiestruturadas para a construção dos dados. Os resultados apontam para uma tensão constante entre o inatingível ideal da masculinidade hegemônica e a ruptura criativa com esse parâmetro.
O presente texto problematiza o lugar das sexualidades na proposta pedagógica da Educação Profissional e Tecnológica (EPT). Emprega a fenomenologia de Merleau-Ponty (2018) como método e usa as Fichas de Análise Fílmica enquanto técnica de construção de dados. Através da análise dos filmes Ferrugem (2018) e Moonlight (2017), os currículos oculto e formal da EPT são analisados, notadamente por meio da relação com o Projeto Político-Pedagógico (PPP) do Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia do Rio Grande do Norte (IFRN). Como resultados, o artigo aponta que não obstante as limitações do currículo integrado, ele se revela dispositivo apto a inserir as sexualidades no contexto da formação humana integral defendida pela EPT. Para isso, urge erotizar os processos de ensino-aprendizagem e dilatar as maneiras de compreender o ser humano, tarefa para a qual o cinema emerge como experiência prilegiada no context educativo.
Nesta resenha da obra Sexo, sexualidade e gênero na educação profissional no Brasil e na França: estudos exploratórios, tratamos de apresentar em linhas gerais, aspectos relevantes de estudos e pesquisas potentes de autores franco-brasileiros, que se debruçam sobre as questões de gênero, sexo e sexualidade no campo epistemológico da educação profissional. A obra convida à reflexão sobre as desigualdades existentes na formação de mulheres e estudantes LGBTQI+, as invisibilidades, violências e tensionamentos presentes neste campo de formação. Recomendamos a leitura a estudantes e pesquisadores que pensam a educação profissional e tecnológica na perspectiva da interdependência das relações sociais de classe, gênero, sexo, sexualidade e raça, do combate a todas as formas de desigualdade e compreenda os estudantes em todas as dimensões da vida conforme a proposta de formação humana integral.
