Early age is the golden age or the golden age. In this phase, the child can absorb all the knowledge gained in the surrounding environment to the maximum. At this age, the planting of religious values must be carried out continuously, so that it will become a child's habit. Based on observations in the environment, today's children seem to be proud or reluctant to pray in congregation in the mosque, which we can observe when the child has reached puberty around middle school age, the child will stop reciting. All of this depends on the environment and education experienced at an early age. Problems like this often occur in various regions, children are reluctant to pray. Some influencing factors include factors in the child and environmental factors. This paper describes the method of teaching children to pray early on according to the hadith of the Prophet Muhammad and the level of early childhood development, including; exemplary, habituation, advice, attention and monitoring, and punishment. This study aims to describe and to analyze how creative school shapes the character of students through edutainment strategies. Character building is very important so the school need to design the curricula to develop students’ character. Creative schools can use edutainment strategies to shape students' character, which provide enjoyable learning process. This qualitative-descriptive study used interviews, observation, and documentation for collecting the data which are analyzed qualitatively. The results show that the school as a creative school with edutainment-based character building, designed innovative ideas involving various activities namely, 1) Tilawah and Tahfidz (recitation and memorization of) Qur'an that formed character of religious and likes to read; 2) multiple language program that built friendly, communicative, responsible, and disciplined students; 3) computer education that developed creative and curious; 4) outdoor learning that included the character values: responsible and care for the environment; 5) leadership and entrepreneurship that resulted the students to be responsible, independent, disciplined, socially caring, and honest; 6) inviting native speakers that created the character of friendly and communicative. Media pembelajaran merupakan salah satu perangkat pembelajaran yang penting keberadaannya. Terlebih lagi di lembaga pendidikan anak usia dini, dimana anak membutuhkan media yang bisa membantu anak dalam memahami materi. Salah satu media yang bisa dignakan dalam membantu anak dalam mengenal huruf adalah media permainan kartu huruf. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan media permainan kartu huruf untuk meningkatkan kemampuan mengenal huruf pada anak usia dini di TK MNU 25 At-Taqwa Jatinegara Kabupaten Kebumen. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilakukan dalam dua siklus. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan media kartu huruf terdapat peningkatan nilai persentase kemampuan mengenal huruf yaitu, pada kondisi awal sebesar 35,70%. Kemudian pada siklus 1 rata-rata persentase meningkat menjadi 61,10%, dan rata-rata persentase pada siklus II mampu meningkat menjadi 83,73%. Dari data di atas terlihat jelas bahwa pemainan kartu huruf dapat meningkatkatkan kemampuan mengenal huruf pada Anak Usia Dini.
One of the factors that affect children's education in PAUD is the pedagogical competence of teachers. This competence must be owned by educators to develop all potential in learners. Many educators are still lacking in developing their pedagogical potential, from this it is important to conduct research on the pedagogical competence of teachers in PAUD institutions. Based on this, this study aims to research and analyze the pedagogical competence of teachers in the Wadas Kelir PlayGroup in developing early childhood literacy skills. The subject of this study was a PAUD teacher in the Wadas Kelir PlayGroup. Data collection techniques in the form of observations, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques are done descriptively. The results of the data analysis conducted showed that teachers in the Wadas Kelir PlayGroup had good pedagogical abilities in accordance with the 2007 decree, especially in developing literacy skills in early childhood. The practices carried out are in line with freedrich Wilhelm Froebel who discussed the competencies that must be possessed by a teacher in the PAUD institution. One of froebel's ideas is about the role of teachers and also about the gift and occupations in the learning process.
Asesmen bagi anak usia dini sangatlah penting untuk dilaksanakan, selain untuk mengetahui perkembangan anak, asesmen juga diperuntukkan sebagai acuan untuk mengembangkan potensi anak secara tepat. Dengan demikian perkembangan anak akan dapat terekam dan didampingi secara tepat. Selain untuk perkembangan yang berkaitan dengan kecerdasan intelektual, asesmen juga perlu diterapkan dalam perkembangan karakter anak. Hal ini sesuai dengan gerakan atau pun program yang dicanangkan pemerintah yaitu revolusi mental. Dari sinilah penting untuk dilakukan asesmen yang berbasis pada pendidikan karakter khususnya anak usia dini.
