There has been conducted Physics research on a material, that is, monitoring electric characteristic of a material using four-point probe method. This research measures current and voltage. The result is used to determine resistivity of a material. The research uses 2 samples, that is, chalk and charcoal. The result shows the resistivity of the sample in the form of bulk (t>s) for chalk has high resistivity on voltage of 6.6 Volt. Meanwhile, resistivity on thick sheet (t<s) has high resistivity on voltage of 7 Volt. On the charcoal material, large resistivity (t>s) is in 6 Volt, and on large resistivity (t<s) is in 6.6 Volt.
Pelaksanaan kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk mendemostrasikan pembuatan pompa air bertenaga energi matahari yang nantinya dapat diaplikasikan oleh masyarakat tani untuk pengairan areal persawahan Kampung Jaya Makmur Distrik Kurik. Untuk membuat pompa air bertenaga energi matahari menggunakan komponen utama seperti panel surya 100 watt peak (wp), inverter 1000 watt, motor penggerak, baterei berkekuatan 70 Ampere hours (Ah), controller, dan bahan besi L untuk pembuatan rangka utama. Perakitan pompa air bertenaga energi matahari dilakukan di bengkel milik masyarakat Kampung Jaya Makmur. Demonstrasi produk pompa air dilakukan di balai kampung menunjukkan bahwa produk dapat bekerja dengan baik sehingga perangkat kampung maupun perwakilan kelompok tani yang hadir sangat antusias untuk mencoba mengaplikasikannya pada areal sawah.

Battery charge control system has been built on hybrid power plants. The source of voltage comes from horizontal-axis windmill with 500 Watt power, Monocrystalline solar cell with 200 WP for charging 12 Volt 35 AH. The aim of this research is to optimize battery charging process using potential energy sources from wind and solar. Control system on hybrid power plant is done by adjusting the amount of voltage or electric current based on the need of the battery charging. The making of the control system uses several software and hardware. Some of the main components used are ATMega 16 micro-controller and voltage censor. The control system that has been made is tested by monitoring the voltage and current during the control process. The test result shows that the control system that has been made is able to work properly in controlling the input voltage from the source and charger voltage on the battery.
Petroleum scarcity has been a yearly problem facing Indonesian society during the last three decades. The program aimed at helping Indonesian society fulfilling their daily needs of energy by creating biogas as a renewable source of energy. In doing so, we employed a demonstrative method. The research flows are follows: 1) providing all the requirements needed (50 Kg of wet cow manure, yeast, pipes, faucets, hose, and gas stove respectively); 2) providing an instruction of the importances of biogas for daily life and the procedures of creating biogas for 50 participants in Amun Kay and Hidup Baru village ; 3) practicing directly of biogas production; 4) asking the participants to practicing for their own. The findings were: 1) producing biogas as a substitute for kerosene as much 4,16 m 3 (2.6 L kerosene) could be used as substitute energy of kerosene for cooking for 3-4 days for 4-5 people; 2) producing 15 Kg dry organic fertilizer.
