<span lang="EN-ID">This study aims to determine the increase in ecoliteracy and creativity in waste utilization by using a project-based-learning (PBL) model in social studies learning. This research is a classroom action research (Action Research). The design of the action model used is the Kemmis and Mc model. Taggart. This research was conducted in the fifth grade (V) of Primary Schools. Data collection techniques used in the study were observation sheet, interview, documentation, and field notes instruments. The results of this study showed that there was an increase in ecolithicacy ability.</span><span lang="EN-ID">Based on the results of the pretest conducted on December 17, 2018, it can be seen that students in Telajung 02 Public Elementary School have not had the ability of Ecoliteracy and students' creativity in utilizing waste. Of the 32 students, the highest score that can be obtained is only 40 from a maximum score of 100. While the lowest value obtained is 20 from a maximum score of 100. In the first cycle, around 63% of students classified as having high ecoliteration ability, 9% classified as having the low ecoliteration ability and 28% classified as having the very low ecoliteration ability. </span><span lang="EN-ID">In cycle II, there was an increase, around 90% of students classified as having high ecoliteration ability, 6% classified as having the low ecoliteration ability and 4% classified as having low ecoliteration ability. </span><span lang="EN-ID">The average value of ecoliteration ability in the first cycle was 87.6 and the second cycle increased to 78.2. In addition, students become more active in the learning process and more courageous in expressing their opinions. This shows that the ecoliteracy and creativity of students can be improved through the project-based-learning model.</span>
This study aims to determine the effect of the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach and students' initial ability to mathematical connection skills of students in grade III of elementary school. The method used is the experimental method with 2x2 treatment by level design with 30 samples. Data analysis using two-way analysis of variance and followed by the Tukey test for the significance level α = 0.05. Test the normality of the data using the Lilliefors test and homogeneity test using the Bartlett test. The results of the study show that: 1). Mathematical connection skills in students taught by the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach are higher than students taught by conventional approaches. 2). There is an interaction between the use of the learning approach and the students 'initial ability to students' mathematical connection skills. 3).Ability of mathematical connection of elementary school students between students who study using the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach that has a high initial ability higher than students who learn by using a conventional approach that has high initial abilities. 4) The mathematical connection ability of elementary school students between students who study with the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach that has low initial abilities is higher than students who learn with conventional approaches that have low initial abilities.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk berupa media Magical Science untuk memvisualisasikan daur hidup hewan Kupu-Kupu dalam bentuk 3D bagi siswa tunarungu. Media ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (RnD) dengan model pengembangan Sugiyono yang meliputi tahap potensi dan masalah, pengumpulan data, desain produk, validasi desain, revisi desain, uji coba produk, dan revisi produk. Validasi dilakukan oleh tiga ahli yaitu ahli media, ahli tunarungu, dan ahli materi dengan hasil rata-rata keseluruhan yang telah dicapai adalah baik, yaitu dengan nilai 3,36 dari nilai maksimal 4. Media Magical Science diujicobakan kepada enam siswa kelas V di SLB Negeri 4 Jakarta. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa media Magical Science ini dapat digunakan untuk memvisualisasikan daur hidup hewan Kupu-Kupu dalam bentuk 3D. Diharapkan guru dapat menggunakan media Magical Science pada pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam.
The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of integrated thematic learning at the elementary level through the application of the Stake's Countenance model, knowing the suitability of the implementation of integrated Thematic learning at the elementary level, knowing the factors that hindered the implementation of integrated Thematic learning at the elementary level. The study was conducted at SDN in Menes Sub district, Pandeglang Regency from March to June in 2019. This research study rests on the results of qualitative research with descriptive methods. The research model uses Countenance Stake. Data sources are obtained from natural settings. This study uses data collection techniques as follows, namely: (1) documentation study, (2) observation, (3) interview. Qualitative data analysis of the scanning process is done by scanning the standard intended matrix based on logical contingency, which includes antecedents, transactions, and outcomes. Then scan the standard observation matrix based on logical contingency, which also includes antecedents, transactions, and outcomes. Based on data analysis it was found that learning was carried out by applying integrated thematic learning, but in the formulation of curriculum structure, the formulation of core competencies and basic competencies including assessment emphasized the application of learning to the subject approach. The inconsistency of this policy has led to doubts in primary schools including Menes Sub district of Menes in implementing integrated thematic learning, not reflecting the application of integrated thematic learning, and the inconsistency of existing policies and inability of existing human resources, both educators, principals, and school supervisors in carrying out thematic learning. Abstrak Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan pembelajaran tematik terpadu jenjang SDmelalui penerapan model Countenance Stake, mengetahu tingkat kesesuaian pelaksanaan pembelajaran Tematik terpadu jenjang SD, mengetahui faktor-faktor yang menghambat pelaksanaan pembelajaran Tematik terpadu jenjang SD. Penelitian dilakukan di SDN di wilayah Kecamatan Menes, Kabupaten Pandeglang dari bulan Maret sampai dengan Juni Tahun 2019. Studi peneilitian ini berpijak pada hasil penelitian kualititatif dengan metode deskriptif. Model penelitian menggunakan Countenance Stake. Sumber data diperoleh dari situasi yang wajar (natural setting). penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data sebagai berikut, yaitu: (1) studi dokumentasi, (2) observasi, (3) wawancara. Analisis data kualitatif proses scanning dilakukan melalui scanning matrik standard intended berdasarkan logical contingency, yang meliputi antecedent, transaction, dan outcomes. Kemudian melakukan scanning matrik standard observasi berdasarkan logical contingency, yang juga meliputi antecedent, transaction, dan outcomes. Berdasarkan analisis data ditemukan bahwa pembelajaran dilaksanakan dengan menerapkan pembelajaran tematik terpadu, namun dalam rumusan struktur kurikulum, rumusan kompetensi inti dan kompetensi dasar termasuk penilaian menekankan penerapan pembelajaran dengan pendekatan mata pelajaran. Inkonsistensi kebijakan inilah yang menyebabkan di sekolah dasar termasuk SDN Kecamatan Menes mengalami keraguan dalam menerapkan pembelajaran tematik terpadu, belum mencerminkan penerapan pembelajaran tematik terpadu, dan ketidakkonsistenan kebijakan yang ada dan ketidakmampuan sumber daya manusia (SDM) yang ada, baik pendidik, kepala sekolah, dan pengawas sekolah dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran tematik. This study aims to know Influence Learning Method (Group Investigation and Guided Inquiry) and the ability to think critical of the results ipa learning. The research was conducted on students at Central Elementary School III Kecamtan Limbangan BI Limbangan Garut, with research subjects are students of class V. This study is an experimental method with 2 x 2 (factorial design). In this study, there are three variables that were examined are: Learning Outcomes IPA as the dependent variable (Y). While the independent variables are (1) Method of learning (Group Investigation and Guided Inquiry) (2) Critical Thinking Skills (high Critical thinking skills and critical thinking skills high). In this study, Yang became the target population (target) is all students of State Elementary School Middle Limbangan III Kecamtan BI Limbangan Garut. While the population is affordable is the class V SDN Middle Limbangan III Garut. The number of samples in this study are numbered students. Sampling using simple random sampling.Hasil showed that: (1). Learning outcomes IPA students that using model Group Investigation more high of Learning Outcomes Science students use learning methods Guided Inquiry, (2) There is an interaction effect between the use of teaching methods and ability Berpkiri Critical to the ability of learning outcomes IPA. (3) Students who have the ability Critical thinking high value IPA higher learning results when using the learning Group Investigation. (4) Students with Low Critical thinking skills, value learning outcomes IPA lower when using Guided Inquiry Learning.
