Este artigo tem como proposta fomentar discuss�o acerca da psicologia aplicada ao ensino da matem�tica, relacionando aspectos te�ricos dos pressupostos de Henri Wallon, com observa��es extra�das de uma coleta de dados, utilizando-se de abordagem qualitativa, com car�ter descritivo, a partir de elabora��o e aplica��o de uma entrevista semiestruturada realizada com duas diretoras de escolas p�blicas, na qual foi indagado a respeito do cotidiano escolar, em especial sobre as rela��es pedag�gicas estabelecidas no ensino matem�tico. Os autores s�o discentes e docente no curso de licenciatura de matem�tica da UEMG, Unidade Passos/MG. Desenvolveram a pesquisa durante a disciplina Psicologia, a qual tem como principal objetivo refletir a instrumentaliza��o do ensino a partir de referenciais te�ricos para o processo de ensino aprendizagem. Aponta-se potenciais nos contextos educacionais, relacionados �s ideias de Wallon, bem como aspectos arraigados em princ�pios que desconsideram o fator �rela��es� entre professor e aluno com implica��es no processo de ensino aprendizagem de matem�tica.
