Trata-se de vinte e quatro contribuições oriundas de quinze estados brasileiros, os quais estão vinculados à vinte e uma instituição de ensino, pesquisa, extensão e inovação. No decorrer desse volume as reflexões propostas pelos autores retratam um panorama sobre Geografia Urbana e sua relação e interação com os Estudos Ambientais, Geotecnologias e Cartografia e as possibilidades de inclusão enfatizando o Ensino de Geografia. Esperamos que as análises publicadas nessa Coletânea propiciem uma leitura crítica e prazerosa, assim como despertem novos e frutíferos debates geográficos que desvendem os caminhos e descaminhos para compreender a realidade brasileira e sua indissociável conexão no bojo da mundialização.
