A educação médica, a nível global, até o Relatório Flexner, em 1910, não era regulamentada pelos conselhos de educação, podendo apresentar currículos diversos. Com o modelo flexneriano de graduação em Medicina, as disciplinas, os docentes e os conteúdos começam a ser apresentados para os acadêmicos, nos primeiros períodos do curso, ocasionando uma crise identitária, conforme observado por Becker et al., em sua pesquisa realizada na Universidade de Kansas, iniciada em 1955. Dessa forma, o presente trabalho objetivou fazer uma revisão de literatura sobre a temática da educação médica no Brasil em um diálogo com a análise do livro “Boys in the White: student culture in medical school” (1961). Os resultados identificaram que, após a Declaração de Edimburgo (DE), em 1988, foram-se observando as necessidades de se formarem egressos do ensino superior, em todo o mundo, com atenção voltada para as condições sociais, que no caso dos ensinamentos em saúde, consistem em determinantes do processo de saúde e doença. Para isso, foi necessário desenvolver um modelo distinto do proposto por Flexner.
A pandemia ocasionada pelo novo coronavirus reforçou a ideia de que os determinantes sociais da saúde, relacionados às condições ocupacionais, afetam diretamente a saúde mental dos profissionais que atuam no nível primário, secundário e terciário de atenção à saúde. Dessa forma, o presente estudo objetivou revisar na literatura científica quais as metodologias de ensino utilizadas na educação para a morte, durante a graduação médica, diante dos determinantes sociais da saúde mental durante a pandemia do novo coronavírus. Para isso, foi feita revisão, nas bases de dados científicas SciELO, PubMed e Periódicos Capes, com a utilização dos descritores “Emergências” AND “Saúde Mental”; “Coronavirus” AND “Mental Health”; “Educação em Saúde” AND “Coronavirus”; “Health Education” AND “Coronavirus”; “Coronavirus” AND “Health Education” AND “Mental Health”. O resultado identificado, após a análise de sete artigos, foi: o planejamento pedagógico da atividade de educação em saúde deve ser voltado à superação do fato de que os ritos de despedida possuem relevância, já que observar/velar a pessoa falecida, garante à subjetividade do indivíduo, que percebe a ruptura dos laços de convivência, os condicionantes do estado real que, ainda que machuquem, são imprescindíveis para a ratificação da ausência de interação com aquele cuja vida chegou ao fim.
Objetivo: Analisar e observar sobre os conceitos abordados no trabalho intitulado “Agentes de implementação: um olhar para as políticas públicas” - de autoria de Gabriela S. Lotta (2008) – a fase de implementação da Portaria nº 1.028 (de 01 julho de 2005), no Brasil. Métodos: Foi feito um estudo ensaístico, utilizando como critério de análise as discussões propostas no trabalho supracitado, bem como estudos de autores que explicitam sobre as políticas de redução de danos, especialmente no Brasil. Resultados: Observou-se, que o cenário, no qual estão inseridos os usuários no Brasil, precisa ser repensado, de forma que a política de redução de danos seja inserida na sociedade, de maneira, realmente eficaz, a fim de que esses indivíduos sejam cuidados de forma humana. Considerações Finais: Conclui-se que é necessária a efetivação, de forma satisfatória, da política de redução de danos, juntamente aos órgãos governamentais, sociais e de saúde, centrada no olhar aos usuários de forma integral e humanística, para que haja a minimização das intempéries relacionados a esse quadro, como: (i) a prevenção de transmissão do HIV/AIDS e de outras infecções sexualmente transmissíveis (IST) e de situações de violência e (ii) o amparo social frente a algum tipo de segregação. Ademais, é preciso desmistificar o foco da atenção ao cuidado no ato da internação e em ações totalitárias.'
