Gorontalo is located at the macro and micro plate boundary, therefore it is located in an active seismotectonic region. This study aims to analyze earthquake damage level in Gorontalo based on seismicity and peak ground acceleration. The data used is obtained from the USGS. Data is made into a database and plotted onto a geological map. Calculation of peak ground acceleration is obtained using the Kawashumi formula. The results of this study indicate that Gorontalo is included in the slight to moderate earthquake damage level because it is dominated by shallow to intermediate earthquake's depth, light to moderate earthquake magnitude, and have a peak ground acceleration 1,462-99,714 gal.
Dampak yang ditimbulkan oleh perubahan iklim dapat mempengaruhi aktivitas kehidupan manusia dan ekosistem lainnya. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah: (1) membentuk komunitas masyarakat atau forum adaptasi masyarakat, (2) melakukan sosialisasi dan pelatihan peningkatan kapasitas pengetahuan dan keterampilan forum, (3) memfasilitasi penyusunan rencana aksi adaptasi untuk menghadapi dampak perubahan iklim. Program ini mengunakan beberapa pendekatan, yaitu: partisipatif, wawancara, observasi, Focus Group Discussion (FGD), survey lapangan, sosialisasi dan pelatihan. Pembentukan komunitas masyarakat dalam rangka penguatan kapasitas kelembagaan merupakan bagian dari upaya adaptasi dalam menghadapi dampak perubahan iklim. Hasil observasi dan identifikasi oleh Forum Adaptasi Masyarakat (ForSIKAT), diketahui bahwa Hutan Mangrove merupakan jenis penggunaan/penutupan lahan yang dominan. Pengetahuan dan keterampilan adalah unsur penting dalam melakukan adaptasi. Rencana aksi adaptasi untuk menghadapi dampak perubahan iklim yang telah dilaksanakan adalah, melakukan identifikasi batas wilayah desa dan dusun, memetakan potensi sumber daya lahan di desa, dan membuat rambu peringatan dini pada lokasi yang telah ditentukan.
Community-based programs emphasize the community as the main actor. It started with recruitment and the establishment of community forums which became the benchmark for the success of the program. Furthermore, the community is equipped with knowledge about the identification and utilization of village potential so that the community can play practical roles in maintaining the balance of the ecosystem in the context of disaster control. The involvement of community forums in best practice is an efficient means because it provides space for forums to exchange knowledge and ideas in offering problem-solving solutions. The mining potential in Hulawa Village has a strategic role in improving the community's economy. However, it has an impact on river water resources in Hulawa Village. The direct impact observed in the field is the color change in river water due to mining activities. The potential of the village-owned by Hulawa Village can be maximized to become a village advantage. This needs to be done because it sees the opportunity for the high involvement of the Hulawa village community in village community empowerment programs.
Konten Pembelajaran telah menjadi bagian penting dalam pembelajaran di masa pandemi saat ini. Pembelajaran yang memanfaatkan jejaring sangat mudah diakses. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah merancang rancangan konten pembelajaran geografi pariwisata berbasis wisata pantai botutonuo berintegrasikan photography essay. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini Deskriptif eksplorasi yang akan mendeskripsikan fenomena secara konprehenship. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Desain penelitian dilakukan dengan analisis kebutuhan, yang disesuaikan dengan rencana pembelajaran semester, capaian pembelajaran dan karakteristik materi. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa 1). Hasil analisis kebutuhan materi geografi pariwisata berdasarkan capaian pembelajaran menunjukan sumber belajar dari Wisata pantai botutonuo antara lain Sumber daya wisata pantai Botutonuo, Pendukung wisata pantai Botutonuo, Wisatawan Pantai Botutonuo, Kawasan Wisata Pantai Botutonuo dengan 11 sub bagian yang memiliki Materi Pembelajaran yang sesuai yaitu Daya Tarik Wisata, Daya Tarik wisata dari Unsur alami, Daya tarik wisata dari unsur non alami, Jenis sarana pendukung wisata, Jenis prasarana pendukung wisata, Kebutuhan dasar wisatawan, Karakteristik wisatawan, Toponimi wisatawan, Komponen dasar Wisata, Atraksi wisata, Amenitas, Aksesibilitas. 2) Komponen wisata yang menjadi sumber belajar antara lain atraksi wisata (pesisir pantai botutonuo, Vegetasi, dan Spot dermaga), amenitas (penginapan, gasebo, menara pandang botutonuo, market, warung makan, tempat ibadah, toilet, area parkir, penerangan) dan akessibilitas (bandara, pelabuhan, terminal, akses jalan). Sebagai kesimpulan Wisata Pantai Botutonuo yang berintegrasikan photography essay memiliki karakteristik yang bersesuaian dengan materi geografi pariwisata, capaian pembelajaran dan karakteristik materi yang terfokus pada komponen wisata. Sehingga dapat menjadi rekomendasi yang efektif kepada pihak terkait, bahwa Wisata pantai Botutonuo yang berintegrasikan photography essay dapat dijadikan sebagai konten pembelajaran pada materi geografi pariwisata.
Presentation of maps in paper form is still often done. The advancement of mobile devices and the support of augmented reality technology are alternatives in making map media presentations more interesting and interactive. This research aims to develop media prototypes in the form of educational games based on mobile augmented reality. Media development is carried out using a prototype approach. The developed media is able to display 3D map objects properly based on the results of black box testing and beta testing. Black box testing shows that the media functions as needed. Beta testing states that this application can be accepted with the percentage of survey results is 89.7%.
