Introdução: Os Distúrbios Musculoesqueléticos (DME) se constituem em uma condição inflamatória e degenerativa que podem causar efeitos negativos durante a fase da escolarização, diminuindo a participação nas atividades escolares, dificultando a aprendizagem e aumentando a evasão escolar. Objetivo: O objetivo deste estudo foi sintetizar as evidencias disponíveis na literatura sobre a prevalência de Distúrbios Musculoesquelética em escolares da Educação Básica. Materiais e Métodos: Foi realizada uma busca nas bases de dados da Biblioteca Virtual de Saúde (BVS) que inclui LILACS, MEDLINE, MEDCARIB, OPAS/OMS, PAHO e WHOLIS; PubMed, EBSCO e SciELO, no período entre 1990 à 2020. Dos 1.320 estudos que foram encontrados, 73 artigos atenderam aos critérios de inclusão. Resultados: Os resultados mostraram que no total 131.904 alunos da educação básica com faixas etárias entre 6 a 21 anos foram avaliados nos estudos. As regiões anatômicas com maior frequência de DME foram os ombros, pescoço, lombar, tornozelos e pés. A prevalência média de DME foi de 20,3% (IC95% 14,7% – 25,9%) e a Oceania apresentou a maior prevalência de DME com 25,8% e a África a menor com 19,5%. Conclusão: Em conclusão, os escolares da Educação Básica apresentam alta prevalência de DME na região superior e inferior do corpo.

Dos 1.051 estudos que foram encontrados, 20 artigos atenderam aos critérios de inclusão. No total 36.454 alunos da educação básica com faixas etárias entre 6 a 18 anos foram avaliados nos estudos. As regiões anatômicas com maior frequência foram os ombros com 37,5%, o pescoço com 28,1% e a região lombar e dorsal com 27,6% e 26,7%, respectivamente. A prevalência média de DME foi de 21,9% (IC95% 14,9% - 28,9%) nos alunos da Educação Básica. Em conclusão, os DME são um problema de saúde pública pela sua alta prevalência em alunos da Educação Básica.
O objetivo desta revisão sistemática foi analisar as evidencias da literatura sobre os Distúrbios Musculoesqueléticos (DME) em docentes brasileiros. Foi realizada uma busca nas bases da Biblioteca Virtual de Saúde (BVS), Portal de Periódicos da Capes, Scielo e Web of Science no período entre janeiro de 2000 à dezembro de 2021. Dos 1.782 artigos encontrados, 15 artigos atenderam aos critérios de inclusão. A região Nordeste com 40,0% e a região Sul com 33,33% foram as mais pesquisadas. As regiões anatômicas com maior frequência de DME foram a dorsal (53,5%), pescoço (46,4%), lombar (44,8%) e ombros (40,3%). A frequência média de DME nos docentes da educação básica foi de 34,5% (IC95%: 30,1% – 38,9%). Em conclusão, os DME são um problema de saúde ocupacional pela alta frequência nos professores da educação básica brasileira.
