Este artigo trata de investigar as elaborações visuais de estudantes do ensino médio do Distrito Federal que participaram das oficinas do projeto experimental “A Quem pertence a cidade?”. A análise leva em conta elementos e signos visuais em circulação e como eles são articulados pelos estudantes em suas criações coletivas de mapas da sua cidade.
Estudar as ilustrações de Oswaldo Goeldi possibilita uma perspectiva intersemiótica para pensarmos o Modernismo brasileiro. Permite, por um lado, analisar as relações temáticas e discursivas que perpassam as imagens, e por outro perceber o conteúdo imagético, alegórico dos textos. Artes plásticas e literatura encontram-se, não mais de maneira hierarquizada – o literato tutelando o artista plástico –, mas como interpretações de um mesmo tempo, de uma época.
Partindo da análise inovadora da filosofia de Nietzsche proposta por Jörg Salaquarda e Wolfgang Müller-Lauter, este ensaio procura examinar as possíveis relações entre o pensamento nietzschiano e a poética expressionista. Pretendemos, assim, apenas sugerir a importância de tal perspectiva psicofisiológica para se compreender as vanguardas.
