RESUMO:O conhecimento aprofundado sobre o agroecossistema da goiabeira (Psidium guajava L.) é uma importante ferramenta para estabelecer estratégias relacionadas com o aperfeiçoamento de programas de Manejo Integrado de Pragas. Deste modo, o objetivo da pesquisa foi realizar um levantamento da ocorrência de agentes de controle biológico (Arthropoda) relacionados à copa das plantas de goiaba em um pomar convencional, e correlacionar a flutuação populacional dos principais inimigos naturais com as variáveis climáticas. A pesquisa foi realizada entre março de 2010 e março de 2011, em um pomar experimental com tratamento convencional de pragas. O monitoramento dos agentes de controle biológico foi realizado com armadilhas adesivas amarelas, mantidas no campo por 15 dias, sendo imediatamente substituídas por novas. Os índices faunísticos calculados foram dominância, abundância, frequência e constância. As flutuações populacionais dos inimigos naturais amostrados foram analisadas em histograma e correlacionadas com as variáveis climáticas por meio do cálculo dos coeficientes de correlação linear simples (r). O predador coccinelídeo Scymnus spp. (Coleoptera: Coccinellidae) e a família Chrysopidae (Ordem Neuroptera) foram os principais agentes de controle biológico registrados, com 48,38 e 37,47% do total de indivíduos coletados, respectivamente; seguido por Cycloneda sanguinea (Coleoptera: Coccinellidae) (6,98%) e da família Aracnidae (4,65%). O gênero Scymnus e a família Chrysopidae são dominantes em relação aos inimigos naturais presentes na copa das plantas do referido pomar de goiaba. As variáveis climáticas não influenciam na flutuação populacional dos inimigos naturais. Palavras
