Resumo A partir de uma situação de violência que envolveu um casal de jovens gays, alguns moradores e traficantes do Complexo da Maré, este artigo trata de dinâmicas concernentes à relação entre violência e subjetividade, tendo como horizonte de reflexão o debate acerca das formas de produção de corpos e gêneros. Ao incorporar o convite de W. Benjamin (2013) por uma “crítica da violência”, tal fenômeno será tomado em seu caráter positivo, como um ato performático que produz corpos, moralidades e gêneros naquele contexto. Por fim, corpos, moralidades, gêneros e a própria violência são compreendidos a partir de sua (re) elaboração através do contexto narrativo.
O presente número da Vivência-Revista de Antropologia, organizada pelo Programa de Pós-Graduação em Antropologia Social (PPGAS) da Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN), tem a honra e a satisfação de trazer ao leitor um conjunto variado, heterogêneo, de artigos, orientados por certos eixos interpretativos, mas destacando o projeto pluralista de nosso programa de pós-graduação e de suas publicações institucionais. São 14 textos ao todo: doze deles artigos, além da conferência do professor João Pacheco de Oliveira Filho (Museu Nacional/UFRJ), que abre o presente número, e do memorial do professor Luiz Assunção (PPGAS/UFRN), que fecha a Vivência.
Rozeli Porto, Paulo Victor Leite Lopes e Lyane Emanuelle Vicente apresentam a pesquisa conduzida na cidade de Natal. Com base em entrevistas junto a diferentes agentes sociojudiciários e na observação de audiências, os autores dedicam sua análise especialmente a dois dos elementos que caracterizam a judicialização da violência de gênero na localidade: a chamada suspensão condicional do processo e os grupos reflexivos para homens autores de violência. Os grupos reflexivos são descritos pelas/os interlocutoras/es como uma medida eficaz no enfrentamento da violência de gênero e cujos impactos significativos seriam evidenciados pela não reincidência entre os participantes. Percebidos como uma forma de envolver os homens na resolução dos conflitos e de promover sua responsabilização pelos atos de violência, os grupos desempenhariam também uma dimensão pedagógica da Lei Maria da Penha, possibilitando a abordagem do fenômeno a partir de suas dimensões socioculturais. O encaminhamento para essas atividades se dá, por sua vez, pela “suspensão condicional do processo”, um recurso da Lei 9.099/95 acionado por esses atores para viabilizar uma espécie de saída restaurativa, com a adesão dos homens acusados aos grupos reflexivos, a participação das mulheres na construção de soluções e a reparação dos danos causados.
Neste número da Vivência – Revista de Antropologia, apresentamos o dossiê “Etnografia, mapas e o fazer antropológico” que revisita a proposta e metodologia da cartografia social junto com outros aspectos mais políticos e conflitivos desta prática colaborativa. Ao utilizar as técnicas e metodologias do mapeamento participativo, os pesquisadores mostram que a antropologia contemporânea não se satisfaz apenas de elegantes reflexões teóricas.
