O objetivo deste artigo foi analisar as estratégias de inovação de empresas de base tecnológica, sob a perspectiva da Resource-Based View. Nesse sentido, a estratégia de pesquisa adotada foi estudo de casos múltiplos, empreendido em quatro empresas. A análise dos dados, por seu turno, ocorreu em dois estágios: análise individual e análise cruzada dos casos, com suporte do software Atlas.ti. Quanto às estratégias de inovação, constatou-se que os quatro casos possuem um comportamento reativo às mudanças no ambiente, realizando, em sua maioria, estratégias de inovação exploitative por meio de inovações incrementais e abertas. À luz do modelo VRIO, alguns recursos intangíveis sobressaíram-se: know-how, cultura organizacional e capacidade empreendedora e inovadora. Conclui-se que as mudanças exigidas tanto tecnológica quanto estrategicamente reforçam o valor da óptica da RBV na seleção, aquisição ou aprimoramento dos recursos tangíveis e intangíveis de empresas de base tecnológica.
(Brasil) RESUMO O artigo tem como objetivo analisar as estratégias de inovação sob a perspectiva da Resource-Based View (RBV). A metodologia possui abordagem qualitativa, adotando o método de estudo de caso único na Empresa Alfa. Para coleta de dados, utilizou-se um roteiro de entrevista semiestruturado. A análise foi realizada com o auxílio do software Atlas.ti. Evidenciou-se a adoção de um conjunto de estratégias de inovação, em particular estratégias de inovação exploitative por meio de inovações incrementais e abertas. Quanto aos recursos e capacidades explorados pelas estratégias de inovação, destacam-se: know-how, design da estrutura organizacional, cultura organizacional, forma como os projetos são feitos e capacidade empreendedora. A pesquisa permitiu concluir que a ótica da RBV na seleção, aquisição ou aprimoramento dos recursos tangíveis e intangíveis favorece as decisões estratégicas, no intuito de direcionar os investimentos para as inovações nas organizações.Palavras-chave: Estratégia de inovação; Resource-Based View; Atlas.ti.
Este trabalho teve como objetivo analisar se há diferenças, em termos de sofisticação e rigor, nas técnicas estatísticas utilizadas por artigos de finanças, publicados em periódicos qualificados pela CAPES, no triênio [2007][2008][2009]. A amostra foi constituída por 100 artigos de 40 periódicos, nacionais e internacionais, inseridos entre os estratos A1 e B5. Foram utilizadas estatísticas descritivas, a fim de caracterizar a amostra, e o teste qui-quadrado de independência, por meio do qual se analisou o grau de independência entre as variáveis estudadas. Os resultados obtidos sugerem que, quanto maior o nível de classificação do estrato, maior é a sofisticação das técnicas estatísticas empregadas nos artigos. Todavia, com relação ao rigor na aplicação das técnicas, verificou-se não haver diferenças significativas entre um estrato e outro. A maioria dos artigos analisados (57%) não validou ou validou parcialmente os pressupostos necessários para sua utilização. Dessa forma, percebeu-se que não houve a devida preocupação com esse aspecto, inclusive nos estratos mais bem qualificados. Ressalta-se que os resultados obtidos ficam restritos à amostra utilizada. Recomenda-se que estudos futuros utilizem amostras superiores, incluindo outros veículos de publicação, como eventos, tanto na área de finanças como em outras áreas do conhecimento.Palavras-chave: Artigos.
