Se parte de la experiencia de los/as trabajadores/as de la salud pública desde la declaración de la emergencia sanitaria por la pandemia de COVID-19, con el objetivo de analizar las transformaciones que ocurrieron en su trabajo cotidiano e identificar los desafíos y principales problemáticas a abordar desde las políticas públicas. Metodología: se trata de una investigación cualitativa que alcanza a 41 trabajadores/as de la salud pública. Resultados y conclusiones: los/as trabajadores coinciden al señalar una completa transformación en las formas de atención y en su trabajo en particular. Las principales tensiones que emergen son: a) en relación a los espacios de trabajo que en este contexto adquieren nuevos sentidos y significados; b) los tiempos de trabajo-descanso y; c) los nuevos roles y actividades a las que tuvieron que aprender y adaptar/se. Tales dimensiones constituyen un desafío para el acompañamiento a los equipos de salud en la transición hacia nuevos escenarios de la Salud Pública en la Argentina.
En este trabajo se presenta una revisión de la literatura científica de estudios etnográficos sobre los servicios de emergencias en hospitales, con el objetivo de sistematizar las investigaciones y los principales hallazgos de los trabajos, que se refieren al proceso de salud-enfermedad-atención-cuidado en servicios de emergencia o guardia hospitalaria, desde una perspectiva etnográfica. En este sentido, se realizó una revisión bibliográfica integradora de textos publicados en revistas indexadas nacionales e internacionales y en las siguientes bases electrónicas: PubMed, BVS, Scopus, Redalyc y SciELO. El corpus de análisis quedó conformado por un total de 69 artículos, a los cuales se aplicó análisis de contenido, habiendo identificado las siguientes dimensiones de análisis: calidad de atención, comunicación y vínculos, subjetividad, aplicación de tecnologías informáticas, reflexión metodológica, experiencias y prácticas de los usuarios, toma de decisiones y violencias. Los resultados permitieron identificar un proceso que se aleja de lo normativo y protocolizado, donde aspectos subjetivos del trabajador, la comunicación y las relacionales interpersonales, así como las condiciones de trabajo, modelan, orientan y condicionan la atención y cuidado que se provee en el espacio del hospital. De este modo, se destaca el abordaje de los aspectos subjetivos en las investigaciones en salud, no sólo para comprender las perspectivas y experiencias de los trabajadores, sino para entender los obstáculos que persisten en el momento de proveer una mejor calidad de atención, complejizando un problema ignorado en la mayor parte de los análisis.
Durante la pandemia de covid-19 en Argentina, el trabajo del sector salud se vio transformado, adecuándose de manera espontánea a las necesidades y exigencias de una emergencia epidemiológica. Se produce un aumento de la demanda de personal, se intensifica el trabajo y se despliegan nuevas estrategias, protocolos y normativas de cuidado. En este artículo presentamos algunos resultados del análisis de entrevistas realizadas a enfermeras y enfermeros sobre sus experiencias de trabajo en hospitales generales del sur del conurbano bonaerense. El objetivo es dar cuenta de los dilemas éticos que enfrenta el personal de enfermería durante la pandemia con el fin de visibilizar dificultades y posibles líneas de trabajo futuro en torno a la formación y las condiciones de trabajo del sector.
Durante la pandemia, en el marco de una investigación transdisciplinaria, diseñamos y desarrollamos el proyecto “Transitar de la pandemia a la pospandemia, desafíos y posibilidades de los nuevos escenarios en la salud pública, desde las narrativas de sus trabajadores/as” (convocatoria PISAC-COVID 19) orientado a conocer las experiencias de atención de les trabajadores de la salud del segundo nivel de complejidad en el conurbano sur. En ese marco, se realizaron entrevistas semiestructuradas, orientadas a recuperar narrativas personales, en su mayoría a la distancia, via plataformas de comunicación virtual y algunas presenciales-. Hacia fines del 2022 tuvimos la oportunidad de acercarnos a los hospitales para compartir los resultados del análisis de esas experiencias narradas, en actividades colectivas y ya en una nueva realidad socio-epidemiológica. La ponencia busca analizar esa experiencia de presentación de resultados desde el cruce de sentidos y emociones que propició: el reconocimiento de les trabajadores en las conclusiones enunciadas como forma de validación del conocimiento científico, la disputa por la/s “moraleja/s” o aprendizajes de lo vivido como premisa/s de iniciativas de participación, transformación u organización en los hospitales, la “catarsis” como subproducto del proceso de investigación, las tensiones entre las voces recuperadas por la investigación y las voces autorizadas por las jerarquías institucionales. ¿Qué produce y qué puede producir la investigación transdisciplinaria en salud pública sobre les trabajadores del sistema de salud? ¿A quiénes y de qué sirve el conocimiento producido? ¿Qué aportes específicos puede hacer este tipo de experiencias de presentación, respecto de otras instancias surgidas de una investigación de este tipo, como la presentación de resultados ante pares académiques, ante funcionaries o en actos de homenaje? ¿Cuáles son las posibilidades reales de presentación de resultados ante las autoridades y les trabajadores? Pasada la crisis, ¿con qué tiempo y apertura cuentan para escuchar sus propias voces en pandemia?
