En el presente trabajo se analizan los principales elementos constitutivos que convierten a los booktubers en unos de los principales agentes de difusión y promoción de la lectura en YouTube. El objetivo principal de este estudio pretende identificar a los principales referentes entre la comunidad de booktubers en España (y en español) a partir de una serie de variables que nos permiten establecer patrones de consumo. Para realizar este análisis, se toma como punto de partida la acotación realizada por Carbajo (2014) y Soto (2015) sobre el concepto booktuber a partir del cual proponemos una actualización tanto en su definición como en su pragmática. La delimitación inicial nos permite analizar cuáles son las similitudes entre youtubers y booktubers en relación a la información emitida y estructurar cómo los segundos amplían la tipología de vídeos en relación a sus prácticas lectoras. Los vínculos entre booktubers y sus espectadores son unos de los valores que consideramos importantes para el estudio puesto que ejercen una gran difusión entre el alumnado en edad escolar obligatoria. Las conclusiones del trabajo muestran una consolidación tanto del fenómeno booktuber como del número de protagonistas. La implicación emocional de esta tipología de vídeos coincide con estudios como los de Chen & Wu (2019) en relación a la replicabilidad de los vídeos generados en YouTube en otras redes sociales, algunas de las cuales pueden ser objeto de análisis en próximos trabajos.
El concepto de lectura social responde a las posibilidades que ofrece en la actualidad Internet para hablar de libros y literatura a través de diversos medios y aplicaciones digitales creando comunidades lectoras. Las redes sociales lectoras son espacios específicos para esta práctica digital ya que recogen en una única aplicación distintas maneras de interacción relacionadas con la literatura. Entre todas, Goodreads, adquirida por Amazon en 2013, es el principal espacio por usuarios y número de libros reseñados. Esta investigación analiza la presencia de la literatura infantil y juvenil española a través de un corpus de 19 libros entre 2016 y 2019, 353 usuarios y 558 reseñas. Se define el proceso de análisis de la red a través de distintos apartados y se recogen resultados de la presencia de las citadas obras para demostrar el interés de esta plataforma como espacio de investigación sobre la lectura social.
A través de la descripción y análisis de los códices 7887, 8432 y 8434 de la Biblioteca Nacional de España, en este artículo pretendemos redefinir su procedencia, datación, autoría y contenido. Establecer su confección en el entorno del asunto de los libros del Sacromonte e identificar la intervención de Pedro de Castro permite ampliar lo que hasta ahora se conocía acerca de sus intentos de aprender árabe y de profundizar en los aspectos más polémicos de los plomos. Tanto los contenidos gramaticales y religiosos como las abundantes anotaciones con referencia a las fuentes que utilizaba aportan valiosa información acerca de su selección de obras. Materiales gramaticales como la Āŷurrūmiyya, que en estos códices se recoge en diferentes versiones, estaban siendo editados en Roma y Leiden y alcanzarían una gran difusión. La conformación de su biblioteca, a la que debieron pertenecer los códices aquí analizados, fluye en paralelo a la construcción de un saber orientalista en la Europa moderna.
