Os debates sobre a desigualdade de gênero estão presentes em diversos segmentos sociais, especialmente no espaço universitário, diante disso, este estudo tem como objetivo analisar como as relações sociais de gênero impactam diretamente na produção científica de docentes/pesquisadores do ICSEZ/Universidade Federal do Amazonas (UFAM) em Parintins/AM. A pesquisa teve como base epistemológica o materialismo histórico-dialético, como delineamento utilizou-se o estudo de caso, com caráter descritivo, exploratório e abordagem qualitativa. Quanto aos participantes foram 12 professores (as) com titulação de doutorado, o Diretor Administrativo e o Coordenador do Comitê Científico do ICSEZ/UFAM. Os dados coletados por meio da entrevista estruturada foram sistematizados e analisados com base no procedimento de análise do discurso. Na primeira parte, realizou-se uma discussão sobre o termo gênero e a importância desta temática na contemporaneidade. Na segunda, aborda-se historicamente a participação das mulheres na ciência e as problematizações sobre as diferenças de gênero e por fim, os resultados da pesquisa realizada no âmbito do ICSEZ. Evidenciou-se que a desigualdade de gênero está presente nas relações sociais da Instituição, em especial no produtivismo acadêmico das professoras/pesquisadoras. Outro aspecto é a sobrecarga da dupla jornada de trabalho enfrentadas por estas mulheres provenientes de uma lógica patriarcal, a qual determina os papéis de homens e mulheres. Ademais, se faz necessário provocar e fortalecer o debate tendo em vista dirimir as desigualdades presentes no espaço acadêmico.
Resumo Objetivo: Averiguar a concepção das residentes do Programa de Atenção Integral em Ortopedia e Traumatologia, da Universidade do Estado do Pará, sobre a atuação do Serviço Social na equipe de saúde do Hospital Regional do Baixo Amazonas do Pará Dr. Waldemar Penna, em Santarém/PA. Métodos: A pesquisa teve o caráter descritivo e explicativo; utilizou-se a pesquisa de campo; os instrumentos como a entrevista semiestruturada com formulários de perguntas abertas e fechadas e o gravador de voz; os dados foram analisados a partir da abordagem qualitativa e da análise de conteúdo de Bardin; a base teórica norteadora foi o materialismo histórico-dialético; e a amostra consistiu em nove participantes residentes. Resultados: O estudo evidenciou duas categorias centrais para a discussão, a primeira “O Serviço Social na equipe do HRBA na ótica das participantes” e a segunda “Demandas pertinentes ao Serviço Social na concepção das participantes”. Considerações Finais: identificou-se a necessidade de criar espaços de debates acerca da temática com vista a questionar as práticas verticalizadas em saúde e persistir em intervenções em equipes pautadas na interdisciplinaridade, construindo relações horizontais entre os profissionais com intuito de promover um atendimento integral e de qualidade aos usuários de saúde.Palavras-chave: Serviço Social; Equipe de Saúde; Assistência Hospitalar. AbstractObjective: To investigate the conception of residents of the Program of Integral Attention in Orthopedics and Traumatology, of the University of the State of Pará, about the role of Social Work in the health team of the Hospital Regional do Baixo Amazonas do Pará Dr. Waldemar Penna, in Santarém/PA. Methods: The research had the descriptive and explanatory character; the field research was used; the instruments as the semi-structured interview with open and closed question forms and the voice recorder; the data were analyzed from the qualitative approach and Bardin's content analysis; the guiding theoretical basis was the historical-dialectical materialism; and the sample consisted of nine resident participants. Results: The study evidenced two central categories for discussion, the first "Social Service in the HRBA team in the participants' view" and the second "Demands pertinent to Social Service in the participants' conception". Final Considerations: We identified the need to create spaces for debate about the theme in order to question the verticalized practices in health and persist in team interventions based on interdisciplinarity, building horizontal relationships among professionals in order to promote comprehensive and quality care to health care users.Keywords: Social Work; Health Care Team; Hospital Care.
O artigo tem como objetivo identificar os desafios e perspectivas do fazer profissional de assistentes sociais residentes egressos do Programa de Residência Multiprofissional em Saúde Atenção Integral em Ortopedia e Traumatologia no Hospital Regional do Baixo Amazonas (HRBA) em Santarém/PA. A pesquisa foi orientada por uma perspectiva crítica e com abordagem qualitativa a fim de compreender o objeto a ser estudado em todos os seus aspectos e conexões, quanto aos participantes, foram 5 Assistentes Sociais Egressos do Programa acima mencionado e para a coleta de dados utilizou-se um formulário com perguntas abertas e fechadas. Os dados coletados foram sistematizados e analisados qualitativamente com base no procedimento de análise de conteúdo. Na primeira parte, realizou-se uma breve aproximação ao debate do Serviço Social e Residência Multiprofissional em saúde. Na segunda, aborda-se as atribuições e competências do trabalho do Assistente Social na política de saúde e na residência multiprofissional em saúde e, por fim, apresenta-se os principais resultados da pesquisa realizada no âmbito do Programa de Residência Multiprofissional em Saúde Atenção Integral em Ortopedia e Traumatologia no HRBA, tais como falta de autonomia, não compreensão da identidade profissional do Assistente Social, precariedade das condições de trabalho e outros. Ademais, torna-se importante o fortalecimento da categoria frente aos desafios e no âmago dos Programas de Residências.
