Este artigo apresenta a otimização aerodinâmica da fuselagem de uma aeronave não tripulada, rádio controlada, participante da competição SAE Aerodesign Brasil 2017 na classe micro, representada pela Equipe ParahyAsas Micro. Com exceção da asa, geralmente para aeronaves cargueiras a superfície que gera maior arrasto é a fuselagem, contribuindo negativamente para a aceleração, consequentemente diminuindo a carga final a ser sustentada em voo. Como a resistência ao escoamento do fluido varia com a geometria da superfície, e o intuito era voar com a maior carga possível dentro dos limites geométricos de projeto criados baseados no regulamento da competição, buscou-se por meio de simulação CFD (computational fluid dynamics) otimizar a geometria original da fuselagem para que gerasse o menor arrasto possível. Primeiramente procurou-se validar o software utilizado, simulou-se uma esfera e posteriormente comparou-se os dados obtidos com dados experimentais já existentes, obtendo um erro de 3,3%. As simulações seguintes foram feitas em duas etapas, ambas assim como a esfera, no software Autodesk CFD®, com número de Reynolds de 119273, utilizando o modelo de turbulência SST-k ômega. Na primeira, com objetivo comparativo, foram feitas simulações numéricas em 2D, a princípio com a configuração inicial da fuselagem, a partir dela foram criadas outras até se chegar a configuração considerada ideal.
