Este estudo objetivou avaliar a florística e a fitossociologia dos indivíduos arbóreos e arbustivos de um fragmento florestal em Santo Antônio do Leverger-MT, em área ecotonal cerrado e pantanal. Em vinte e cinco parcelas de 20 x 20m, área amostral de 1,0 ha, foram inventariados todos os indivíduos com CAP ≥ 15 cm. Registrou-se 37 famílias, 61 gêneros, 77 espécies, 1 família indeterminada e 1 espécie não identificada. Destacaram-se em número de espécies, as famílias Fabaceae, Annonaceae, Sapotaceae, Apocynaceae, Cecropiaceae, Myrtaceae, Burseraceae, Melastomataceae, Moraceae e Rubiaceae. A espécie de maior índice de valor de importância (IVI) foi Ocotea olivacea (Lauraceae). A área apresentou densidade de 695 indivíduos/ha e área basal de 20,3 m2/ha. O índice de Shannon-Weaver e equabilidade de Pielou encontrados foram 3,81 e 0,87, respectivamente, evidenciando uma comunidade com alta diversidade.
O presente estudo teve como objetivo avaliar a composição florística e estrutura do componente arbóreo-arbustivo em área ecotonal de cerrado e pantanal, no município de Santo Antônio do Leverger, MT, na área da cabeceira do rio Caeté, Bacia do Prata. Foram instaladas vinte cinco parcelas de 20 x 20 m, perfazendo área amostral de 1,0 ha. Todos os indivíduos com CAP ≥ 15,00 cm (1,30 m do solo) foram inventariados. Contabilizaram-se 38 famílias, 71 gêneros e 83 espécies. A família Fabaceae com 15 espécies destacou-se das demais com maior diversidade de espécies. O maior Índice de Valor de Importância foi de Xylopia aromatica. A área basal encontrada de 29,3 m2.ha-1, pode ser considerada expressiva para a fitofisionomia da área de abrangência do estudo. O índice de Shannon-Weaver e a equitabilidade de Pielou obtidos foram 3,74 e 0,84, respectivamente, evidenciando uma comunidade com alta diversidade de espécies na área estudada.
