Sport activities associated with basketball and field athletics run at various distances contribute significantly to the excitability of the cervical spinal motoneuron pools, motor axons, and muscle fibers which is proved to be less typical of powerlifting. At the same time the research indicated an increased level of reflex excitability of α-motoneurons of muscles of the hip and shin, a significant lowering of the threshold of irritation of the correspondent afferent and efferent nerve fibers, and an increase in the quantity and synchronization of activity of motor elements of the lower limb proximal and distal muscles in basketball players and runners as compared with powerlifters. The monograph is devoted to the study of the growth patterns, metabolism of chicken egg cross embryos and the development of their visceral organs under the influence of variable incubation temperatures. New data on the main patterns of growth and energy metabolism in the embryogenesis of birds are summarized. Up-to-date information on the growth and development, energy exchange of egg and meat cross chicken embryos is presented. New data have been obtained on the effectiveness of the effect of variable incubation temperature on the growth and metabolism of egg cross chicken embryos and the development of their visceral organs.
It is intended for graduate students and teachers of higher education, researchers related to the problems of artificial incubation of farm birds.
The study is devoted to identifying the effectiveness of exercise complexes in water for the correction and prevention of lumbosacral osteochondrosis in elderly women, which was proven and expressed in a significant improvement in systolic blood pressure, the Stange and Gencha test, spinal mobility in the Tomayer test and the Schober test, lateral flexion of the spine to the left and right, maintaining stability of balance in the Romberg test, quality of life.
Keywords: elderly age, osteochondrosis, exercises in water.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
