While smallholders play a significant contribution on Indonesian oil palm production, they are confronted to sustainability challenges. This study aims to analyze determinants of their behaviour to apply sustainable practices. Theory of Planned Behavior was applied to examine the effect of attitudes, subjective norms, perceived behavioral control and past behavior toward smallholders' intention to implement sustainable oil palm production practices. In this study the sustainable practices include applying organic fertilizer, integrated pest management, non-fire land clearing, certified seed and participating in a farmer group. A survey was carried out over 242 oil palm smallholders in Kampar, Riau. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with Partial Least Square (PLS) program was employed to examine our hypothesis. The results show that attitudes, perceived behavioral control and past behavior have positive and significant effects on smallholders' intention to implement sustainable production practices, whereas subjective norms seems to be not significant. Smallholders tend to be individually independent in making a decision or taking action. Hence, improving attitude toward sustainability, for example, through extension service or training and providing incentives to overcome perceived behavioural control are expected to be an effective measure to encourage sustainability practices among oil palm smallholders.
Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) yang dilaksanakan oleh Tim PKM Institut Teknologi dan Bisnis Sabda Setia (ITBSS) merupakan kegiatan Pelatihan Dasar Microsoft Office Di Panti Asuhan Abdi Agape Pontianak. Kegiatan ini telah dilaksanakan selama tiga sesi dalam waktu dua hari, yaitu pada tanggal 8 dan 9 Oktober 2022. Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini diikuti oleh 19 orang peserta yang merupakan anak-anak asuh di Panti Asuhan Abdi Agape Pontianak. Pelatihan Dasar Microsoft Office ini terdiri dari tiga topik pelatihan mengenai Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel dan Microsoft PowerPoint. Materi-materi tersebut akan dimentoring oleh dosen-dosen dari Institut Teknologi dan Bisnis Sabda Setia. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi dan analisis terhadap nilai Pre-test dan Post-test kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini berhasil memberikan pemahaman bagi peserta pelatihan, serta meningkatkan kemampuan anak-anak asuh di Panti Asuhan Abdi Agape Pontianak. Pada Pelatihan Dasar dan Praktik Microsoft Word ini nilai rata-rata Post-test peserta di pelatihan tersebut meningkat 30.05% dari nilai rata-rata Pre-test mereka. Kemudian untuk Pelatihan Dasar dan Praktik Microsoft Excel, nilai rata-rata Post-test peserta di pelatihan tersebut meningkat 21.82% dari nilai rata-rata Pre-test mereka. Sedangkan untuk sesi terakhir yaitu pelatihan dasar Microsoft PowerPoint, nilai rata-rata Post-Test peserta di pelatihan tersebut meningkat 30.24%. Berdasarkan hasil test yang menunjukan peningkatan ini, dapat dikatakan bahwa tujuan dan manfaat dari Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat yang dilakukan di Panti Asuhan Abdi Agape Pontianak ini telah tercapai. Coffee Shop is one of Food and Beverage (F&B) business that has a more functional purpose than culinary businesses in general. Coffee Shop does not only sell coffee drinks or its accompaniments, but a place that provides space and comfort for its customers while enjoying coffee and its accompaniments. This is a consideration for MSMEs whether Coffee Shops will be more effective if they adopt online food delivery services. This study aims to explore the factors that influence the adoption of Food Delivery Applications (FDA) in MSMEs Coffee Shop based on the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology 2 (UTAUT2). The research was conducted on 70 MSMEs Coffee Shop in Pontianak City by distributing questionnaires. Data were analyzed using the Structural Equation Modeling method with SmartPLS software. The results showed that the personal innovativeness variable had a significant positive effect on FDA's adoption behavior at the coffee shop MSMEs in Pontianak City. Coffee shop entrepreneurs in Pontianak City do not consider performance expectancy, supporting infrastructure, community and consumer needs, technological security levels, or the cost of using food delivery services. While previous studies hAVE identified factors influencing people's technology adoption behavior with the UTAUT2 theory, this study showed that the factors that shape coffee shop behavior are different from F&B businesses generally in terms of adopting food delivery. Factors outside the UTAUT2 theory need to be analyzed in future studies to explore factors influencing FDA adoption by coffee shop MSMEs.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji adopsi aplikasi GoBiz pada pelaku UMKM di industri makanan dan minuman. Fokus penelitian ini adalah menggunakan teori UTAUT yang telah dimodifikasi untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap Adoption of GoBiz serta mengidentifikasi faktor yang paling signifikan dalam mempengaruhi perilaku adopsi aplikasi ini. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah survei dengan menggunakan kuesioner sebagai instrumen pengumpulan data. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 60 responden yang merupakan pelaku UMKM makanan dan minuman di Kota Pontianak. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis menggunakan metode analisis Structural Equation Modeling. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa Performance Expectancy, Perceived Technology Security, dan Price Value secara signifikan berpengaruh terhadap Adoption of GoBiz. Namun, terdapat hubungan yang berlawanan arah antara Perceived Technology Security dan Adoption of GoBiz, di mana semakin rendah pemahaman pelaku UMKM tentang keamanan teknologi, semakin tinggi adopsi aplikasi GoBiz. Variabel yang paling signifikan dalam mempengaruhi Adoption of GoBiz pada pelaku UMKM makanan dan minuman di Pontianak adalah Performance Expectancy dan Price Value. Kedua variabel ini memiliki pengaruh positif yang signifikan terhadap adopsi aplikasi GoBiz. Sementara itu variabel dalam UTAUT2 lainnya seperti Facilitating Condition dan Social Influence tidak ditemukan pengaruh yang signifikan pada perilaku adopsi aplikasi Gobiz. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi penting dalam pemahaman faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi adopsi aplikasi GoBiz di kalangan pelaku UMKM makanan dan minuman di Pontianak.
