The purpose of this study was to understand the management of strengthening character education through online and offline learning during the Covid 19 New Normal pandemic which includes planning, implementation and evaluation. The research method used a qualitative descriptive method through observation, documentation and interviews at MTs Hidayatul Islamiyah Bandar Lampung. Data were analyzed using the following steps: data reduction, display data, and conclusion / verification). The results of this study indicate that first, planning to strengthen student character education has been carried out properly through the preparation of objectives, strategies and policy mapping as well as procedure mapping and program refinement using RPP designs; second, the implementation of character education runs well through activities of a religious nature, planting nationalism, social care and concern for the environment; third, evaluation of the management of the strengthening of character education of students through monitoring activities on the implementation of activities by carrying out reflection, analysis and follow-up plans.
Suku Minang memiliki sistem kekerabatan matrilineal di mana kesejahteraan seorang anak menjadi tanggung jawab bersama keluarga besar ibu (communal) yang dipimpin oleh mamak (saudara laki-laki ibu). Akan tetapi, penelitian-penelitian dalam bidang sosiologi memberikan bukti bahwa sistem kekerabatan tersebut sudah memudar dan peran mamak sudah digantikan oleh bapak seiring dengan menguatnya praktik keluarga inti (nuclear family). Penelitian ini berusaha mengeksplorasi tema-tema dalam makna pemberian dukungan dari perspektif mamak kepada kemenakan. Penelitian ini melibatkan 298 laki-laki Minang yang memiliki kemenakan (anak dari saudara perempuannya) dan berdomisili di provinsi Sumatra Barat yang secara tradisional mempraktikan sistem kekerabatan matrilineal. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan open-ended questionaire, dan dianalisis menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif analisis tematik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perilaku pemberian dukungan sosial dari mamak kepada kemenakan masih dilakukan pada mayoritas partisipan. Namun, pemberian dukungan tersebut hanya bersifat insidental dan tidak berlangsung terus-menerus. Pemberian dukungan kepada kemenakan ternyata memberikan manfaat bagi kesejahteraan afektif mamak apabila perilaku tersebut dilakukan secara tulus (altruist) dan praktik tersebut ternyata memberikan luaran sosial yang positif (rewards) seperti harga diri (self-esteem) dan perasaan terhubung (feeling social connection). Temuan lain yang menarik adalah munculnya kategori kewajiban (obligation) yang ternyata juga dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan afektif alih-alih menjadi beban bagi mamak.
The process of physics learning in MAN (Islamic senior high school) 2 Bandar Lampung which is still teacher-centered causes students to have low critical thinking skills. One learning model that can be used to overcome this problem is the Active Learning Based Interactive Conceptual Instructions (ALBICI) model which is equipped with Predict, Discuss, Explain, Observe, Discuss, Explore, Explain Tasks (PDEODE*E tasks). The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of the ALBICI model with PDEODE*E tasks in improving students' critical thinking skills on momentum and impulses subject material. The type of research used is quasi-experimental with 30 students of the class X1 as the experimental class and 30 students of class X2 as the control class. The results of data analysis using t-test at a significance level of 0.05 indicate that the ALBICI model with PDEODE*E tasks iseffective in improving students' critical thinking skills. Furthermore, theobtainedeffect size of 0.6 indicates that the model's effectiveness falls into the medium category.
Lack of Islamic literacy-based physics e-module motivated the researchers to develop said module since education is not only aimed at producing skillful individuals in the scientific and technological fields but also have high religious awareness to face the current global development. This study was intended to produce an Islamic literacy-based physics e-module with a STEM approach through the ADDIE development model which consists of 5 stages, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Data collection techniques used were non-test instruments in the form of material expert validation sheets, media expert validation sheets, religious expert validation sheet, a questionnaire for tenth-grade physics teachers, and a questionnaire for tenth-grade students. This research has succeeded in developing an Islamic literacy-based physics e-module. The average scores obtained from the material, media and religious experts validations were 88%, 89%, and 90% respectively. The recapitulation of the questionnaire’s percentage put the developed e-module into a feasible category. The average percentage of the teacher response was 87%,. The small group trial obtained an average percentage of 85% while the field trial obtained an average percentage of 86% within the very interesting category.
