Infecções Sexualmente Transmissíveis crescem exponencialmente e afeta todos os grupos sociais e ciclos de vida, sobretudo, em gestantes, pela condição/fase de maior vulnerabilidade imunológica e psicoemocional. O objetivo do presente estudo foi traçar o perfil sociodemográfico e obstétrico das gestantes portadoras de HIV em um hospital e maternidade. Trata-se de estudo de caráter exploratório, quantitativo, retrospectivo e com análise documental. Foram utilizados dados dos prontuários de parturientes de um hospital do interior do estado do Ceará. As variáveis analisadas foram relacionadas ao perfil sociodemográfico/obstétrico de gestantes portadoras de HIV. Do total de 1.150 prontuários analisados, 04 gestantes foram diagnosticadas como HIV positivas, correspondendo a 0,35%. Em relação ao estado civil, prevaleceram as casadas (50%); predominou o parto cesáreo (75%); o número de consultas foi de sete ou mais 4/4 (100%); em relação à idade gestacional no parto, houve predomínio de 37 a 41 semanas 3/4 (75%). O perfil traçado de gestantes positivas para HIV constituiu importantes subsídios a serem observados pelos órgãos públicos, como gestação em idade jovem, para dirigir as ações de Saúde Pública.
Objetivo: avaliar a associação entre a idade materna e as condições perinatais das parturientes em um hospital e maternidade do Norte do Ceará/Brasil. Materiais e métodos: foram verificados registros oficiais de 530 parturientes atendidas em um hospital e maternidade de Sobral/CE, cujos prontuários datassem de 2015; a população estudada foi dividida de acordo com a faixa etária materna em 5 grupos; e associou a idade materna com as variáveis: estado civil, tipo de parto, idade gestacional, número de consultas pré-natal, Apgar no 5’ e peso ao nascer. Resultados: as gestantes do Grupo II foram a maioria, 61%; nos Grupos I e III, maior parte das mulheres estavam em União Estável; a maioria das mulheres realizaram parto normal, 245 no total; parto a termo foi maioria em todos os grupos; houve predominância de ≥ 7 consultas pré-natal no grupo II de parturientes (38,96%); o Grupo II correspondeu ao grupo com maiores índices de Apgar ao 5’ em recém-nascidos; por fim, aproximadamente 45% das gestantes no Grupo II tiveram seus bebês com o peso médio de 2.500g a 3.900g. Conclusão: percentual relevante de gestantes mais jovens ou mais velhas e poucas consultas pré-natal realizadas foram associados de forma negativa aos fatores perinatais.
