Buscamos analisar alguns conflitos envolvidos nas experiências de pessoas submetidas a cirurgia bariátrica, recurso adotado após suas tentativas frustradas de controle do peso. Utilizamos uma metodologia qualitativa e realizamos uma observação participante aliada a entrevistas semiestruturadas. Os dados obtidos revelam trajetórias marcadas pela angústia diante de um corpo que escapa ao controle da pessoa e que se configura como ameaça a ela própria. Sentimentos como culpa e vergonha expressam o reconhecimento da falha de seu projeto de autogestão. Os relatos sobre o pós-cirúrgico sugerem a permanência de um processo da racionalização de si constantemente ameaçado pela gordura, o que se reflete principalmente no medo do reganho de peso. Ainda em relação a essa fase, alguns participantes expressaram a dificuldade de gerenciar o novo corpo de acordo com as orientações médicas, enquanto outros expuseram o dilema de não reconhecer-se na nova aparência.
O trabalho investiga a suposta indefinição existente entre “práticas corporais” e “corporeidade” em textos acadêmicos nacionais. Indagamos se e como ambas estão relacionadas na produção disponibilizada pelo Portal de Periódicos Capes. Objetivamos averiguar os nexos entre esses termos em nossa produção científica. Realizamos uma busca de documentos revisados por pares com os descritores corporeidade AND “práticas corporais” OR “prática corporal”, resultando 28 artigos. O tratamento dado à expressão “práticas corporais” está em conformidade às definições de Lazzarotti Filho et al., (2010) e Gozalez e Fensterseifer (2014); já a corporeidade segue a definição de Csordas (2009). Tanto corporeidade quanto práticas corporais aparecem como vivências, experiências e práticas de um corpo culturalmente referenciado. Concluímos que ambos os termos ligam-se a aspectos socioculturais, fazendo-se necessário aprofundar a delimitação dessas noções.
O estágio supervisionado é um componente fundante na formação docente que oportuniza reflexão acerca da ação educativa. Portanto, esse estudo possui abordagem qualitativa e é caracterizada como relato de experiência, sendo desenvolvido no quarto estágio como componente curricular obrigatório, que corresponde a fase do Ensino Médio, do curso de licenciatura em Educação Física da Universidade Regional do Cariri (URCA), no campus de Iguatu-CE. Assim, os seguintes resultados foram obtidos: 1) Devido discrepância de idade dentro das turmas da Educação de Jovens e Adultos (EJA), o planejamento das aulas pode vir a ser um processo complexo, e 2) Durante a educação acadêmica inicial, os futuros professores não são devidamente preparados para trabalhar com esse público. Contudo, concluiu-se que ainda são necessárias alterações no sistema educativo, pois é preciso que o professor veja formas de adaptações e reflexões voltadas para o público da EJA.
É notória a relevância atribuída a prática do Ensino a Distância (EaD) na contemporaneidade, sendo a modalidade responsável por proporcionar um mundo novo de possibilidades na vida acadêmica de inúmeras pessoas. É possível afirmar que a utilização do ensino a distância proporciona ao aluno o conhecimento independente de qualquer situação. Diante disso, este estudo teve como objetivo descrever a percepção discente sobre as práticas de avaliação do curso de Licenciatura em Educação Física a distância, através do método descritivo, caracterizando-se de uma abordagem quantitativa de cunho exploratório. A amostra foi composta por 26 discentes matriculados nos 6º e 7º semestres do curso de licenciatura em Educação Física de uma Universidade Pública do Estado de Pernambuco - PE. De acordo com os resultados ficou claro que os discentes concordam com a maioria das ferramentas utilizadas como meio avaliativo no curso de licenciatura a distância em Educação Física.
O presente estudo originou-se do esforço em compreender o contexto social da implantação de Salas de Consumo a Risco Reduzido para usuários de drogas injetáveis tomando por base o caso da França, que autorizou a abertura destes estabelecimentos em 2016. Tendo em conta que o uso de psicoativos foi longamente combatido por meio de uma política proibicionista que vigorou a partir de 1970 no país, surge a seguinte questão norteadora: quais foram os aspectos sociais que levaram à adoção de um outro modelo, até então moralmente muito contestado por sua sociedade, que aceita o uso moderado e em ambientes apropriados daquelas substâncias? O artigo tem por objetivo analisar a constituição discursiva interposta acerca das Salas de Consumo no debate público francês. Realizamos uma pesquisa de natureza teórica empregando uma metodologia qualitativa, a qual tratou-se de uma revisão bibliográfica não-exaustiva, feita em 2019, incluindo artigos científicos e teses. A principal base de consulta foi constituída pela Biblioteca Nacional e Universitária de Estrasburgo. Os resultados apontam que, segundo o material analisado, a genealogia acerca do uso de substâncias psicoativas está relacionada à estigmatização dos usuários. O aspecto social que conduziu a passagem do proibicionismo à adoção do modelo de moderação no uso de psicoativos ocorreu através de um campo de controvérsias que inseriu, paulatinamente, o tema da redução de danos no debate público francês. Além disso, até o momento da pesquisa, havia uma escassa produção científica sobre a temática, a despeito de sua importância para o debate público. Conclui-se que a superação das controvérsias acerca do assunto pode contribuir para a (des)estigmatização de usuários de substâncias psicoativas, redefinindo seu papel social e status nos processos de interação em sociedade.
