Objetivo: Estimar a prevalência das características definidoras e dos fatores relacionados ao diagnóstico de enfermagem “déficit no autocuidado para banho” entre os pacientes adultos críticos. Métodos: Trata-se de estudo transversal descritivo, conduzido com 51 pacientes internados em uma Unidade de Terapia Intensiva, entre fevereiro e abril de 2018. Os dados de caracterização sociodemográfica e clinica foram coletados no prontuário. Os dados referentes ao Diagnóstico de Enfermagem: Déficit no autocuidado para banho foram obtidos a partir da observação direta do paciente. Realizou-se a estatística descritiva. O estudo foi aprovado por Comitê de Ética em Pesquisa. Resultados: Houve um predomínio de pacientes idosos (33 - 64,7%), do sexo masculino (28 - 54,9%), considerados brancos (26 - 51,0%), que evoluíram para a alta (43 – 84,3%). A prevalência do “Déficit no autocuidado para banho” foi de 100,0% entre os pacientes. A capacidade prejudicada para acessar a fonte de água, acessar o banheiro e pegar os artigos para banho foram as características definidoras apresentadas por todos os pacientes (51 - 100,0%). Entre os fatores relacionados, o mais prevalente (100,0%) foi a barreira ambiental. Conclusão: Conclui-se que os pacientes críticos possuem limitações para a manutenção da sua higiene corporal, sendo dependentes da equipe de enfermagem.
Objetivo: identificar o tipo de banho realizado em pacientes críticos à admissão e na saída da unidade de terapia intensiva e avaliar os fatores associados ao banho no leito desses pacientes nesses dois momentos. Método: estudo observacional, quantitativo, longitudinal, retrospectivo, realizado com informações de 85 prontuários de pacientes críticos internados em uma unidade de terapia intensiva. Avaliou-se a diferença dos tipos de banho realizados com os pacientes críticos,à admissão e na saída da unidade, a partir do teste de Mc Nemar. Utilizou-se a regressão logística para avaliar os fatores associados à realização do banho no leito nesses dois momentos. Resultados: predominaram os pacientes do sexo masculino (56,50%), com média de idade de 65,4 anos. O banho no leito foi o mais realizado, tanto à admissão (88,2%) quanto na saída da unidade (78,8%).Entre os pacientes que receberam alta, houve diferença dos tipos de banho realizados no início e fim da internação (p= 0,013). Os pacientes que vieram a óbito receberam apenas o banho no leito. À admissão na unidade de terapia intensiva, a chance de um paciente em oxigenoterapia ter indicação de banho no leito foi maior (OddsRatio = 6,24). Por sua vez, na saída desse setor, essa chance foi maior nos pacientes em uso de oxigenoterapia (OddsRatio = 13,81) e cateter vesical de demora (OddsRatio = 5,56). Conclusão: em pacientes críticos o banho no leito foi o mais realizado e sua indicação esteve associada à utilização de dispositivos de oferta de oxigênio e controle urinário.
Objetivo- Descrever o perfil alimentar de pacientes pós transplante cardíaco (TC) tardio de um centro transplantador brasileiro. Método- Estudo observacional transversal com delineamento descritivo. O estudo ocorreu em uma instituição de ensino público de Minas Gerais. A coleta de dados ocorreu no período de 2017 a 2019. Resultados-. A amostra do estudo foi composta por 62 indivíduos transplantados entre os anos de 2006 a 2016. Aproximadamente 63% era do sexo masculino. A média de idade foi de 46,53 anos. O consumo de carboidratos e gorduras foi adequado em 46,77% e 59,68% da amostra, respectivamente. Já o consumo de proteínas foi acima do recomendado em 77,42% e o consumo de fibras abaixo do recomendado em 79,03%. Conclusão- Houve a predominância do sexo masculino. Os indivíduos apresentaram um consumo adequado somente de carboidratos e gorduras. Não houve na literatura estudos descrevendo a atuação do enfermeiro no processo de nutrição neste cenário.
