This study examines the influence of internal and external factors on profitability as proxied by Return on Assets (ROA), a study on Islamic Commercial Banks for the 2016-2020 period. In the theory of profitability, there are 2 factors that affect bank profitability, namely internal factors and external factors. Internal factors in this study are BOPO (Operating Expenses to Operating Income), Non-Performing Financing (NPF), Financial to Deposit Ratio (FDR) and external factors in this study are inflation and the money supply. Profitability is one of the most important factors in a company, including Islamic financial institutions, in this case Islamic banks, so that every company must pay attention to the company's profitability ratios. Islamic banks are financial institutions that just started to emerge in the late 90s and have a very high level of competition with conventional banks. For this reason, this study aims to look at the financial performance of Islamic banks in Indonesia through the level of profitability they have had for the last 5 years. The sample selection in this study used purposive sampling method. The sample in this study is the monthly financial statements of Islamic commercial banks in Indonesia in 2016-2020. The data in this study will be processed using SPSS software with multiple regression. The results of this study state that inflation as an external factor does not have a significant effect on the profitability of Islamic Commercial Banks as measured by the Return on Assets (ROA) ratio with a significance level of 0.628 and the money supply has a significant effect on ROA. While the BOPO, NPF and FDR variables as internal factors have a significant effect on ROA.
The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of the positioning strategy at the Master Bread Perdagangan bakery. The research approach is a qualitative approach. The data sources come from primary and secondary data. The data collection technique is done by interviewing the managers and consumers of the Master Bread Perdagangan bakery. Based on the research conducted, the conclusion is that the positioning strategy has been implemented by the Master Bread Perdagangan bakery by providing a positive image, but there are obstacles, namely consumer doubt about the products being sold caused by consumers not liking certain products sold in stores and also store locations that are too sidelined so that they are often invisible or overlooked and have the same perception among similar companies. The positioning strategy is carried out by providing slogans to stores, providing the best service, and providing good quality at relatively low prices. ABSTRAKTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan strategi positioning pada toko roti Master Bread Perdagangan. Pendekatan penelitian adalah pendekatan kualitatif. Sumber data berasal dari data primer dan sekunder. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan adalah dengan wawancara kepada pengelola dan konsumen toko roti Master Bread Perdagangan. Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan, menghasilkan kesimpulan bahwa strategi positioning sudah dilaksanakan toko roti Master Bread Perdagangan dengan memberikan citra (image) yang positif, namun terdapat hambatan yaitu keragu-raguan konsumen akan produk yang dijual yang disebabkan oleh konsumen tidak menyukai produk tertentu yang dijual di toko tersebut dan juga lokasi toko yang terlalu dipinggir sehingga sering tidak terlihat atau terabaikan serta presespsi yang sama antar perusahaan sejenis. Pelaksanaan strategi positioning dilakukan melalui pemberian slogan pada toko, memberikan pelayanan terbaik, dan memberikan kualitas yang baik dengan harga yang relatif murah.
Currently, many campuses have implemented operational fund management through waqf, including the Al-Azhar Egypt campus, Unida Gontor, UII Yogyakarta, and Darunnajah waqf. However, on the other hand, there are still many aspects of management as well as data and management that have not been digitized and published in general. so that this becomes a problem of waqf accountability itself. The purpose of this study is to clearly know the pattern of cash waqf management at the Unida Gontor and MUI campuses and be able to implement this model on all campuses. The methodology of this research is descriptive qualitative with an ANP analysis tool. The results show there are 3 problems in this cash waqf model. Among other things, the HR factor with a rather agreement value of 2%, universities with a rather agreement value of 12% and the operational value of rather agreement at 1%, and the strategy, namely the synergy between BWI and universities, using local wisdom and being used as waqf as a lifestyle with the rather agreement value by 16%.
Guru dan siswa MAN 1 Medan merupakan salah satu komunitas pengguna layanan bank syariah, namun masih sedikit yang memahami secara benar konsep perbankan syariah yang sebenarnya. Kepercayaan merupakan salah satu modal penting bagi bank syariah agar nasabahnya tetap terus menggunakan layanan bank syariah. Untuk itu, pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk menguatkan pemahaman guru dan siswa MAN 1 Medan terhadap pengetahuan tentang perbankan syariah. Kegiatan PKM memberikan seminar dan workshop penguatan pemahaman keuangan syariah khususnya perbankan syariah kepada guru dan siswa MAN 1 Medan. Dalam pengabdian juga dilakukan sosialisasi prodi perbankan syariah Fakultas Agama Islam Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara. Pemahaman terhadap keuangan syariah semakin bertambah dan hal ini diketahui melaui kuis di akhir acara yang dilakuakn oleh tim PKM.
