Fe-ZSM5 coated on a cordierite monolith was characterized and tested in the selective reduction of nitrogen oxides (NO x ) with ammonia. More than 70% of the NO x were converted at T > 350 °C if only NO was present in the feed. For equimolar amounts of NO and NO 2 in the feed, NO x conversions of over 90% were reached for T = 200-450°C. Hydrothermal ageing of Fe-ZSM5 resulted in a small loss in NO x conversion and enhanced N 2 O formation.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
