In the last few years there has been an extraordinary growth in the field of herbal & ayurvedic medicines. Herbal formulations have less side effects and are safe to use. The goal of the present study is involves preparation & evaluation of polyherbal hair oil using plant materials. The different extracts of different part of plant showed promising pharmacological activities. Formulation of polyherbal hair oil prepared by using extract of hibiscus rosa sinensis flower and powder of curry leaves, henna leaves, fenugreek seeds, tulsi leaves & shikakai. After preparation capsules of vitamin B7 is added in oil, it stimulates keratin production. The prepared polyherbal hair oil evaluated different parameters such as phytochemical screening, organoleptic characterization, physical evaluation, specific gravity, pH and also stability study. Antimicrobial assay of the polyherbal hair oil was carried out by using cup plate method and these helps reduces dandruffs and scalp of hairs. And to provide nutrition’s to hairs. The antioxidant activity of the oil was studied by DPPH radical scavenging activity. Hence, these polyherbal hair oil increases hair growth, reduces hair loss, providing protection against dandruff.
People have been aware of the importance of using plants for the basic need of having healthy and beautiful skin since ancient times. Herbal formulations have always gotten a lot of interest because they have good activity and have fewer or no negative effects than synthetic medications. Because Natural face care uses tropical face washes made of ingredients available in nature, much of the recent literature review plant derived ingredients, which may include herbs, flowers, roots, flowers, and essential oil, the best thing about herbal cosmetics is that they provide the body with nutrients and other useful minerals. The natural-based personal face care market has experienced rapid expansion. The goal of this research was to create and test a herbal formula.
Acne vulgaris is a persistent inflammatory skin condition that affects roughly 80% of adolescent girls during puberty. Antibiotics are being used more frequently to combat this problem, which has resulted in a number of negative side effects. As a result, it must concentrate on the herbal formulation as a first-line topical treatment. In this investigation, three medicinal plants with substantial antibacterial activity, Citrus limon, Curcuma longa, and Aloe barbadensis, were chosen to construct a polyherbal gel for the treatment of acne vulgaris. Citrus limon, Curcuma longa, and Aloe barbadensis were extracted and described.The topical gels were made with varied concentrations of orange peel extract, aloevera extract, and turmeric extract. The gel was made and assessed after being maintained at room temperature for 24 hours. Skin illness is caused by toxins collecting in the bloodstream as a result of blood impurities, poor eating habits, and a sedentary lifestyle. Acne vulgaris is a skin condition that affects the majority of teenagers during puberty due to hormonal changes that alter pathophysiologic variables. This formulation has the advantage of being convenient and straightforward to use, as well as improving physiological and pharmacological responses. As a result, we discovered that the Anti-acne gel has good properties in this study.
Herbal cosmetics are now widely used by the general public due to the concept of low side effects and high safety. The purpose of this study is to use various herbs to formulate herbal oils for general purposes (application to hair). The blended hair oil contains a variety of herbs traditionally used for hair growth, such as hibiscus, shikekai, amla, neem, curry leaves, aloe vera and coconut oil. The evaluation of the produced polyherbal hair oil was performed based on various parameters such as the following. B. Functional phytochemicals, density, pH, viscosity, acid value, saponification value. The prepared formulation is evaluated for the primary skin irritation test of the forearm. It turns out that the above parameters are good and meet the criteria. Therefore, it can be concluded that this oil is beneficial in maintaining good hair growth, darkening white hair, providing protection against dandruff and resulting in shiny hair.
