Technique and resultsObjective: to show the diagnosis, the surgical technique and our results of the arthroscopic suture of the complete tears of the subscapularis tendon with inbox technique. Methods: all patients operated at our hospital between 2014 and 2016 had a complete subscapular tendon rupture, including both acute and chronic injuries. For the evaluation the ranges of movement was recorded and visual analogue scale (VAS) for pain and Constant-Murley score were performed before surgery, 6 weeks, 3, 6 months and at discharge. Results: we included 13 patients. Mean age of 57.5 (24-73). Time elapsed between injury and treatment was 18 weeks (2-48), mean follow-up was 7 months (5-12), mean time for immobilization was 5.6 weeks (4-6). Rehabilitation performed for 4.2 months (3-6). VAS at discharge was 0.3 (0-4), Constant-Murley score 87 (65-95) and in mobility the external rotation was 53.2 (45-60), forward flexion of 165.5 (155-180) and abduction 162.7 (140-180).
