Learning systems in emergencies, can be implemented by making online-based learning or distance learning. This study compares the top 100 citations of online learning and distance learning publications and analyzes their real contribution in physics learning from 1992 to 2021. This study uses bibliometric analysis and literature review. The findings of this study include: 1) The trend of online learning topics is more consistently rising and has a higher value than distance learning every year, 2) The most frequently used keywords are online learning, and distance metrics learning, the United States has the highest contribution over the last thirty years, 3) The type of document that is often used is articles, 4) The highest average citation per paper per year is in 2020, 5) Both topics demonstrate the superiority of contributions to studying physics. The real contributions in physics are to make learning more flexible, train students' independence, train technology, deepen understanding of concepts and make learning more efficient. More intensively, further research can be done by comparing other learning systems applied in physics learning.
The aim of this research is to analyze the trends and future research opportunities related to confirmatory factor analysis in education. This research uses a descriptive bibliometric analysis and literature review to determine research trends. The data in this research used the Scopus database during 2012-2021. Data in form .CSV was analyzed using Ms. Excel and data in form .RIS was analyzed using VOSviewer. The conclusion from this research are the trend of research on this topic has increased every year in the last ten years. The most widely used keyword is confirmatory factor analysis. Research related to CFA in education has a wide and good opportunity to be carried out for several reasons including: (1) the trend shows a good graph and continues to increase; (2) the number of citations per paper per year shows a number with a high average; (3) From many studies, it is stated that CFA has a contribution in educational research. For future research, we can focus on discussing CFA in a multidisciplinary manner or discussing CFA trends in education using databases other than Scopus.
The aim is to analyze top 100 highest citations of digital learning research topics and the important role of interactive learning in physics in 1992-2021. This study uses bibliometric analysis and literature review. The trend of digital learning topics is increasing steadily, from 2014 to 2021. Digital learning shows an excellent contribution to physics learning. The important role of interactive learning in physics is to improve student learning outcomes, deepen understanding and make learning more interesting. More intensively, further research can be carried out by comparing other learning systems applied in physics learning.
The existence of a research topic can be seen from the research trend. Analysis that can map data to determine the trend of a study is using bibliometrics. The purpose of this study is to compare trends of mobile, web, and e-learning research and their contribution to physics learning in the last twenty years. The data was obtained from Scopus which was processed using Ms. Excel and VOSviewer. The three topics show a steady increasing trend in the last three years. The highest average citation per paper per year is in 2020. The most widely used keywords are mobile learning, web-based learning and e-learning. The contribution of the three topics to physics learning includes increasing motivation, learning outcomes, etc. Future research can be carried out to compare the contribution of the three topics to other learning systems such as STEM, STEAM, etc. using databases other than Scopus.
Keywords: Bibliometrics; E-Learning; Mobile Learning; Physics Learning; Web Learning.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
