El presente estudio tiene como objetivo identificar el impacto generado por los medios de información en las mujeres migrantes venezolanas residentes en Lima, Perú, en el contexto del COVID-19, y saber cómo se relaciona con el estado emocional de ellas, así como con el cumplimiento de las recomendaciones sanitarias. Este estudio correlacional retrospectivo recolectó información de 385 de estas mujeres migrantes a través de una encuesta virtual realizada durante las primeras semanas (19 de marzo-30 de abril de 2020) de las medidas de aislamiento social obligatorio tomadas por el gobierno del Perú. Los principales resultados muestran que existe una asociación entre los efectos de los medios y el impacto emocional; ninguno de los medios de comunicación analizados brindó información tranquilizadora, sino inquietante. Este estudio concluye que los medios de comunicación agudizaron los sentimientos de preocupación, miedo, temor y enojo de las mujeres venezolanas migrantes.
La sociedad, como proceso de interacción humana, ha enfrentado diferentes perspectivas en su abordaje multidimensional. Esto tal vez ha influenciado a la educación como hecho social e histórico-ciudadano, y la ha sometido a los modelos económicos, políticos y sociales, que se han desarrollado en el mundo entero, lo que ha dado nacimiento, en cada momento de la historia de la humanidad, a nuevos modelos educativos en respuesta a necesidades y avances. Al mismo tiempo, la educación se presenta como un elemento modelador de personas y desarrolla la identidad de los seres humanos. La identidad social se muestra como el sentido de pertenencia de un individuo a la sociedad. Adopta comportamientos y formas de pensar, e influye significativamente en la formación de valores cívicos, especialmente la participación en la toma de decisiones ciudadanas.
Este trabajo de investigación tiene como objetivo reconocer las características sociohistóricas de los estudiantes de la Facultad de Letras y Ciencias Humanas de la Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos (Perú), en relación con los procesos migratorios y el origen común, el autorreconocimiento de la identidad y la cultura (religión y prácticas y costumbres). La metodología consistió en entrevistas, mediante un modelo de encuesta realizada a 86 miembros de la Facultad. Los principales resultados destacan que son Áncash y Junín las principales ciudades de origen de los familiares de estos estudiantes, que la mayor parte de ellos se reconoce como mestizo y que casi el 40 % mantiene una ruptura abierta con las prácticas religiosas preponderantes en sus familias.
El desarrollo tecnológico ha representado nuevos retos y cambios en las empresas de comunicación internacionales y nacionales debido a la mayor interacción de los públicos con los contenidos e informaciones en los entornos digitales, a través de dispositivos móviles, tabletas y computadoras. La revisión bibliográfica aborda las tesis producidas en el Perú respecto de las transformaciones de los medios de comunicación en el entorno digital relacionadas con las prácticas de producción de la información, las innovaciones en los contenidos, la migración hacia el periodismo digital, así como los estudios sobre la recepción por parte de los públicos. El análisis muestra que la producción académica ha aumentado en los últimos cinco años en cada uno de los espacios de análisis señalados, principalmente en Lima y Trujillo; sin embargo, existen ausencias metodológicas que van más allá de la entrevista en profundidad y la encuesta para estudiar la recepción de los públicos de los contenidos digitales y las prácticas de producción de los periodistas.
