ResumenEste trabajo describe un estudio acerca de la satisfacción usuaria de adultos mayores en Chile por el uso de audífonos otorgados por el programa Garantías Explícitas en Salud en Chile (GES). Para ello se analiza las necesidades para el uso de audífonos en una muestra representativa de adultos mayores en Chile (población objetivo) y se discute sobre los beneficios logrados por el uso de audífonos en la población objetivo. Además, este trabajo presenta un análisis de factores de componentes principales de un estudio de percepción de calidad de vida por el uso de audífonos en adultos mayores. Se concluye que hay relación directa entre el uso de audífonos y la calidad de vida de adultos mayores en Chile que los usan. For this reason, the requirements established for the use of earphones in a representative sample of older people in Chile (target population) are analyzed and the benefits achieved by the use of earphones in the target population are discussed. In addition, this paper presents an analysis of factors of the main components of life quality perception by the use of earphones in senior people. It is concluded that there is direct relation between the use of earphones and quality life of senior people that used them.
En este trabajo se analiza la relación que, en términos metodológicos, existe entre el análisis de actividades y el desarrollo de nuevas prácticas de investigación. Los conceptos utilizados permiten fundamentar algunos cambios epistemológicos que conlleva la innovación en procesos de investigación que posean características complejas y se analizan algunas consideraciones éticas y algunos aspectos metodológicos que conlleva este tipo de investigación para la movilización de los recursos personales. Se trata el tema desde la definición de un problema de investigación y la influencia del método en la definición de las hipótesis y los objetivos de investigación. Se describen las fases de investigación que derivan de esta nueva metodología, el impacto que tiene esta propuesta sobre las técnicas de recogida de datos así como la incidencia sobre el análisis y evaluación de resultados. Termina con la descripción de resultados esperados en este tipo de investigaciones, reflexiones acerca de la aplicabilidad en el contexto de la formación por competencias así como la protección de los resultados del análisis de actividades.
Este trabajo estudia la presencia de estresores en estudiantes de enfermería de tercer año durante la realización de sus prácticas clínicas intrahospitalarias. Se aplicó una metodología cuantitativa por medio del cuestionario bilingüe Kezkak, del cual se analizaron las dimensiones, falta de competencia, sobrecarga, relación con tutores y compañeros e implicación emocional. Se realizó un piloteo del instrumento con docentes y estudiantes de la escuela de enfermería para verificar entendimiento y comprensión del mismo. Los estudiantes fueron contactados vía on-line lográndose una cobertura de 89,6%. Concluyéndose finalmente que los estudiantes de enfermería presentaron estrés durante las prácticas clínicas intrahospitalarias preferentemente al inicio de estas.
La utilización de las TIC en los últimos años se ha extendido a todas las edades desde los niños hasta los adultos mayores. El presente estudio revisa la capacidad de mejora de calidad de vida de la población adulta mayor a través de las TIC. Con un instrumento se mide la satisfacción vital de 817 adultos mayores en áreas rural y urbana, y su acceso a bienes tecnológicos como TV satelital, PC e internet. Los resultados revelan que el acceso a estos bienes en general es escaso, pero aún más en el área rural. Los efectos de estos bienes sobre la satisfacción vital son más importantes cuando el adulto mayor reside en la zona urbana, de hecho los niveles de satisfacción difieren significativamente cuando se posee alguno de estos bienes. En el área rural, la satisfacción con la vida parece permanecer igual aun cuando se posea o no alguno de estos bienes. Aun así, el acceso a cualquier tipo de bien tecnológico puede reducir a cero los mínimos porcentajes de extrema insatisfacción vital en los adultos mayores del área rural.
Este trabajo estudia la presencia de estresores en estudiantes de enfermería de tercer año durante la realización de sus prácticas clínicas intrahospitalarias. Se aplicó una metodología cuantitativa por medio del cuestionario bilingüe Kezkak, el cual considera nueve ámbitos de acción, sin embargo en esta investigación se analizarán sólo tres, entre los cuales tenemos: Falta de control en la relación con el enfermo, dañarse en la relación con el enfermo y búsqueda de una relación íntima por parte del enfermo, siendo estas las variables independientes. Se realizó un piloteo del instrumento con docentes para verificar entendimiento y comprensión del mismo. Los estudiantes fueron contactados vía on-line lográndose una cobertura de 89,6%. Se pudo concluir que los estudiantes de enfermería presentaron estrés durante las prácticas clínicas intrahospitalarias preferentemente al inicio. Los principales factores de estrés fueron, síntomas de impotencia e incertidumbre (analizados en otro estudio) y falta de control en la relación con el enfermo.
