This article aims to describe and analyze the planning, implementation, and evaluation of Madrasahs in strengthening the quality of education at MI (Islamic Elementary School) Miftahul Ulum, Kesambenwetan Village, Driyorejo District. This article uses a qualitative research type with a case study design, taking the research location at MI Miftahul Ulum. Methods of data collection are done by (1) interview (2) observation (3) documentation. Data analysis used the Miles and Huberman model: namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The research findings show that: 1) Madrasah planning in improving the quality of education at MI Miftahul Ulum through a) Internal environmental analysis b) External environment analysis c) strategy selection, 2) Madrasah implementation in improving the quality of basic education, through, a) Tahfidz class programs, b) superior class program c) Extracurricular program The conclusion obtained is that improving the quality of education begins with the commitment of Madrasahs in improving the quality of education, followed by increasing the resources of teachers and education personnel, and principal management and implementation of strategies to improve quality. The quality applied is, though, a) Tahfidz class program, b) superior class program c) Extracurricular program.
Research on multiple intelligences has been growing for the last three decades, however, the ones on interpersonal intelligence still need more investigation. This case study explored the development of Islamic school learners’ interpersonal intelligence fostered by religious extracurricular activities. It also sought the factors inhibiting the development of intelligence. The participants of the study were a school principal, vice-principal, extracurricular coach, and three teachers and students at a secondary Islamic school. Data were collected through interviews and observation. The data were then analyzed through data reduction, presentation, and conclusion. The findings revealed that joining religious extracurricular helped learners grow the characters of discipline, self-confidence, empathy or caring, politeness, and togetherness. Meanwhile, factors that inhibit the development of students’ interpersonal intelligence were the influence of surrounding people and gadgets (technology).
The purpose of this article is to explain and analyze the Qur'anic learning process and the principal's strategy in developing Qur'anic learning at MTs Sunan Giri in Probolinggo. This article uses a qualitative research type with a case study approach. The research site is at MTs Sunan Giri Probolinggo. The information for this research is the principal of the madrasa, the deputy head of the madrasa, the teacher concerned, and the students. This research was conducted from January to May 2021. The results of this article are: 1) The process of learning the Koran is carried out in learning and extracurricular activities. 2) the strategies carried out by the principal are: The strategy of the principal of MTs Sunan Giri Probolinggo City in developing Al-Qur'an learning in his school there are several roles, namely: 1) the principal acts as an educator (educator), 2) the principal acts as a manager, 3) the principal acts as an administrator, 4) the principal acts as a supervisor, 4) the principal acts as a leader, 5) the principal acts as an innovator, 6) the principal acts as a motivator, 6) the principal acts as an innovator and facilitator.
This article is motivated by student discipline records that show promising results. This disciplinary background cannot be separated from how single parents educate students in the family. This condition is certainly not in line with the theory of student discipline, where students with good discipline come from families that are intact and compact in educating their children. This article aims to find out and describe the Single Parent Parenting Pattern in Shaping the Discipline of MI Darussalam Pacet Mojokerto Students and the Causes of Single Parenting Patterns in Shaping the Discipline of MI Darussalam Students Pacet Mojokerto. This article has used a qualitative type with a case study approach centered on one well-disciplined student with divorced parents. The results of this study are 1) Parenting applied by single parents to students using a combination of authoritarian and authoritative parenting. 2) The causal factors are classified into internal and external.
The focus of this article is to discuss the implementation of the integration of Islamic religious education and science in learning at the Nahdhatul Ulama Elementary School, Padomas, Jember Regency. The type of research used is qualitative with a case study approach. Sources of data obtained from primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study are the integration of Islamic Religious Education and Science in learning at SD Nahdhatul Ulama Padomasan, Jember Regency, which is divided into three stages, a) Learning planning is prepared before carrying out learning, identifying basic competencies (KD) and then pouring them into a lesson plan. b) The teacher conducts preliminary activities, then conveys to students what activities will be carried out according to the theme, students are directed to explore and find out for themselves what they are learning. c) Evaluation is carried out after each lesson by providing LKPD, mid-semester evaluation and end-semester evaluation.
