Objetivo: Descrever acerca do trabalho noturno e as repercussões na saúde dos trabalhadores de enfermagem. Revisão bibliográfica: Os trabalhos noturnos realizados por trabalhadores de enfermagem interferem na vida profissional e pessoal e podem acarretar doenças desde limitações físicas a psíquicas. Enfatiza-se a importância do descanso durante os plantões e após a chegada no domicílio para evitar distúrbios ansiosos e/ou depressivos, perda de sono, problemas com concentração, conflito emocional, aflição, psicose, problemas em relacionamentos interpessoais, irritação com excesso de preocupações, problemas para relaxar. O cansado ocasionado pela falta de sono pode representar risco de erros, acidentes e prejuízo para o paciente. É necessária compreensão dos gestores acerca dos prejuízos que os plantões noturnos trazem, para assim articularem estratégias para melhorar a qualidade de trabalho e vida desse público, sendo urgente estabelecer procedimentos destinados a minimizar erros na prática de trabalho intensivo dos serviços de saúde. Considerações finais: O trabalho noturno entre trabalhadores da enfermagem promove alterações na vida desse público, trazendo-lhes repercussões físicas, psicológica e sociais.
Objetivo: Descrever, por meio da literatura científica, acerca da gestação, parto e puerpério durante a pandemia da COVID-19. Revisão bibliográfica: Durante a pandemia da COVID-19, utilizaram-se de diferentes estratégias para assegurar assistência à saúde à mulheres no ciclo gravídico puerperal. Apesar desses esforços, no Brasil, houve diversas restrições, dentre elas a da rede de apoio pelos serviços, que exacerbou a solidão e os sintomas nesse público. Destaca-se a importância de fornecer apoio às mulheres grávidas e puérperas para reduzir os sentimentos de isolamento, a fim de suavizar as consequências para saúde mental. Mesmo em um cenário adverso, os direitos dessas mulheres devem ser respeitados. Considerações finais: Urge fornecer rede de apoio e suporte psicossocial às mulheres durante a pandemia da COVID-19. Caso contrário, eventos adversos podem ocorrer durante a gravidez e, portanto, afetar a mãe e o recém-nascido. O apoio interpessoal e a conexão social são protetores contra o desenvolvimento de sintomas psíquicos.
