Psicólogos y expertos del mundo de la tecnología vienen advirtiendo, desde hace tiempo, que el uso frecuente y continuado de las redes sociales puede resultar en una adicción, lo que, a su vez, podría derivar en ansiedad, dependencia emocional, pérdida de motivación, falta de autocontrol e irritabilidad. Un estudio realizado por la Chicago Booth School of Business (2012) señalaba que las redes sociales tienen una capacidad de adicción mayor incluso que la del tabaco porque, entre otros motivos, acceder a estas plataformas resulta sencillo y, además, gratuito. Con el presente estudio, planteamos como objetivo principal analizar la importancia e impacto que supone el like en la generación Z, así como estudiar el contexto social de las redes sociales e investigar si el like afecta a esta generación y de qué manera. Para la elaboración de esta investigación se ha realizado, por un lado, una revisión bibliográfica sobre las redes sociales y el uso que los jóvenes hacen de ellas, identificando cuáles son sus favoritas, cuánto tiempo le dedican y las implicaciones que estas tienen sobre el cerebro humano. Por otro lado, se ha realizado un estudio de campo que se ha llevado a cabo en España a una muestra de 500 jóvenes de 18 a 26 años (los correspondientes a la generación Z), con el objetivo de conocer el uso que hacen de las redes sociales y analizar el impacto que tienen los likes sobre ellos. Entre las conclusiones principales destacamos un uso de redes sociales de más de tres horas diarias, siendo Instagram y WhatsApp las redes favoritas por esta generación. Si bien algunos miembros de este grupo social afirman sentirse inseguros, enfadados e incluso tristes si no reciben la respuesta esperada (traducida en likes o comentarios pospublicación) no modifican ni adaptan el tipo de contenido que comparten públicamente en base al número de likes que puedan conseguir. Finalmente, a pesar de que dicen no darle demasiada importancia a la retroalimentación recibida, suelen activar sus notificaciones en las redes sociales para estar a la última de posibles interacciones.
RESUMEN:Se presenta la aplicación de una metodología basada en la modelación matemática y en la utilización de sistemas gráficos computacionales para la obtención de pautas de decisión destinadas al ordenamiento territorial y planificación urbana de una cuenca con escasez de datos que involucra a una ciudad capital de provincia en el Noroeste de Argentina. INTRODUCCIÓNLa Provincia de Catamarca (Figura 1 ) se encuentra en el Noroeste de Argentina, al pie de la Cordillera de los Andes y por lo tanto con una orografía bastante accidentada. Su clima es del tipo semiárido con una precipitación media anual de 300 mm.El arroyo Fariñango, al igual que sus afluentes La Gruta, Choya y La Florida, atraviesan el área urbana de la Ciudad San Fernando del Valle de Catamarca, Capital de la Provincia, ocasionando numerosos inconvenientes durante las esporádicas crecidas producidas por intensas tormentas convectivas en las temporadas estivales. La situación así planteada se agrava aún más si se tiene en cuenta que la expansión urbana se está produciendo hacia el norte, zona que, precisamente, es la que posee una mayor densificación de la red de drenaje natural y por lo tanto la que queda más expuesta al riesgo de inundaciones. OBJETIVO Y METODOLOGÍACon la finalidad de obtener parámetros de diseño para obras de sistematización de los cauces, como también para la planificación del uso del suelo, se desarrollaron los estudios hidrológicos pertinentes que consistieron, primeramente en la determinación de variables hidrometeorológicas y fisiográficas de las cuencas, las que luego fueron utilizadas como datos de entrada a los modelos matemáticos de simulación hidrológica. Los caudales así obtenidos, asociados con probabilidad de ocurrencia, fueron datos de entrada al modelo matemático de simulación de curvas de superficie libre en régimen permanente para delimitar áreas de inundación. PROCESAMIENTO DE LA INFORMACION HIDROMETEOROLOGICAEste procesamiento consistió inicialmente en la recopilación de la información pluviométrica de la región (no existen datos pluviográficos disponibles) manifestada por los récords de longitud variable de las 12 estaciones operadas por el Servicio Meteorológico Nacional (SMN) y por la Dirección de Hidráulica de Catamarca (D.H.). Análisis de la distribución espacialCon la necesidad de contar con eventos de lluvia que tuvieran simultaneidad en más de 7 estaciones para poder analizar la distribución espacial de las tormentas, se realizó un proceso de selección que permitió individualizar 15 eventos.Artículo recibido el 3 de Manso de 1995 y aceptado para su publicación el 13 de Marzo de 1995. La necesidad de fomentar las prácticas profesionales en los alumnos de las titulaciones vinculadas con la Comunicación ha llevado a las universidades a buscar fórmulas creativas que mejoren la vinculación entre los estudiantes y su vida laboral. Una propuesta es la creación de espacios de simulación laboral bajo la tutela de profesores universitarios con experiencia profesional que puedan formar al mismo tiempo en cuestiones académicas y prácticas desde el primer día de carrera. De este modo, los entornos semiprofesionales en el ámbito universitario se convierten en un trampolín de partida para que los estudiantes lleguen mejor preparados a sus prácticas curriculares y extracurriculares.
