Caracterização físico química da água em um trecho de rio, nas cabeceiras do Araguaia -Tocantins, Noroeste do Goiás, Brasil RESUMO: O presente estudo exibe os parâmetros físico químicos coletados em um rio de Cerrado no Sertão Goiano, destacando as características das águas de um trecho, deste importante tributário da bacia Araguaia -Tocantins, o qual tem sua bacia inserida em uma área descrita como Cerrado Stricto Sensu, no Noroeste do estado de Goiás. Neste estudo, foram selecionados pontos amostrais que contemplam ambientes desde a montante de uma área de lavra para exploração mineral (680205.00 m E; 8422958.00 m S) até à jusante, próximo a foz do tributário mais importante (656655.00 m E; 8434760.00 m S). A qualidade da água foi avaliada em duas etapas, uma na estação seca e outra na estação chuvosa, respectivamente (julho de 2021 e novembro de 2021). Somando um total de cinco pontos amostrais, visitados sistematicamente em ambas as estações, totalizando 10 amostragens, onde os parâmetros foram analisados. Desta forma, as amostras foram exploradas a fim encontrar valores para os parâmetros: In Situ (Oxigênio dissolvido; Condutividade elétrica; Temperatura da água; Temperatura do Ar; pH); e Ex Situ (todos os parâmetros preconizados na Resolução CONAMA 357, além da DBO; DQO; Série nitrogenada; Série fosfatada; Coliformes fecais; Clorofila-α; Metais pesados). Os parâmetros apresentaram variações similares entre os pontos amostrais, tendo notável discrepância de dados entre o ponto mais à montante relativo aos valores do ponto mais à jusante. Estes resultados indicam que há maiores alterações para estes parâmetros, diretamente relacionadas com o percurso, ao singrar próximo à área de agricultáveis e industrializadas. Sendo isto, indicativo de possível impacto ambiental sobre a fauna e flora local. PALAVRAS-CHAVE: Rios do Cerrado, fauna aquática, contaminação ambiental.
