En este trabajo narramos una experiencia de aprendizaje en la que por primera vez introducimos el cine como metodología docente en un curso de contabilidad de nivel superior para explorar fundamentalmente el concepto de sensibilidad ética.Nuestro estudio evidencia que la sensibilidad ética lograda con el visionado de la película impacta positivamente en la calificación del estudiante. Los estudiantes más satisfechos con esta metodología de aprendizaje son los que mejor respondieron la pregunta sobre ética del cuestionario, lo que implicaría una mayor motivación ética y carácter ético. No obstante, los resultados no permiten extraer conclusiones generales sobre la significatividad del impacto en la calificación de la motivación ética sobre el carácter ético desarrollado en los estudiantes a través de esta experiencia.Nuestro trabajo realiza una valiosa contribución a la literatura al describir una experiencia docente con buenos resultados que puede ser inspiradora para otros docentes y con interesantes aportaciones en el terreno de la teoría de los comportamientos éticos explorando conceptos como sensibilidad, motivación y carácter ético, no solo en el plano teórico sino también aplicado a través de las respuestas recibidas por parte de los participantes y abre además interesantes vías para la investigación futura.
El objetivo de este artículo es estudiar la reacción de los mercados financieros ante la adhesión de empresas del ranking de S&P “The Sustainability Yearbook- 2022 Rankings” a la iniciativa Science Based Targets (SBTi).
En este trabajo se explora el uso del razonamiento moral basado en escenarios y la argumentación ética, asíncrona en línea, como estrategia educativa para determinar el despertar hacia la sensibilidad ética de estudiantes de Auditoria. Nuestros objetivos de aprendizaje implican la emisión de juicios por parte de los alumnos y el aprendizaje a través de la interacción grupal, para medir la consecución de estos objetivos utilizamos una adaptación del método Delphi.Nuestro estudio evidenca que la participación en esta actividad benefició a los estudiantes principalmente proporcionándoles nuevos puntos de vista y permitiéndoles reconocer los dilemas y dicotomías presentes en la emisión de juicios profesionales a partir de la opinión de sus pares. Además, nos permitió identificar una serie de conceptos erróneos sobre la ética profesional y poder trabajarlos en el aula.Nuestro trabajo realiza una doble contribución a la literatura; por una parte, describe las capacidades de un enfoque creativo para enseñar ética de manera transversal a estudiantes universitarios y, por otra, desarrolla un marco inicial de sesgo, conceptos erróneos y falacias inherentes relacionadas con su futuro quehacer profesional. Si bien no exento de limitaciones, nuestro estudio abre interesantes vías para futuras investigaciones en el campo de la ética profesional.
