Neste estudo, realizou-se uma análise de convergência dos conteúdos dos Estudos de Impactos Ambientais (EIAs) de refinarias de petróleo no Brasil com o conceito de desenvolvimento sustentável e a saúde do trabalhador. Desenvolveu-se um indicador denominado grau de convergência, segundo as categorias: equidade, intersetorialidade, ações multiestratégicas, participação, empoderamento e sustentabilidade. Essas foram analisadas no diagnóstico ambiental, análise de impactos ambientais e medidas mitigadoras e compensatórias, utilizando indicadores de saúde do trabalhador como critérios para convergência, conforme as dimensões incipiente, insuficiente, intermediário ou avançado. Os resultados mostraram que o grau de convergência dos conteúdos com o desenvolvimento sustentável e saúde do trabalhador são incipientes (0 a 20%) nos EIAs da Refinaria Abreu e Lima (RNEST) e do Complexo Petroquímico do Rio de Janeiro (COMPERJ). No EIA da Refinaria de Paulínia (REPLAN) a convergência é insuficiente (25 a 45%). Em relação ao grau de convergência total, o EIA REPLAN apresentou o grau insuficiente (30%), seguido dos EIA COMPERJ e EIA RNEST que apresentaram o grau incipiente (13%; 23%). Os resultados encontrados sugerem a necessidade da inserção do conceito de desenvolvimento sustentável nos EIAs de refinarias de petróleo, sob a ótica da saúde do trabalhador, como estratégia de controle de riscos socioambientais, reafirmando o caráter preventivo do processo de licenciamento ambiental.
Foi realizada caracterização e análise das principais estratégias de comunicação desenvolvidas pelos três níveis de gestão do Sistema Único de Saúde (SUS) para o enfrentamento de Covid-19 no Brasil. Consideraram-se websites, Twitter, Youtube, Instagram e Facebook, coletivas de imprensa, aplicativos e boletins epidemiológicos, totalizando 35 estratégias. Apesar da comunicação ser um dos eixos fundamentais em resposta à pandemia, parte significativa das estratégias não abordou adequadamente as temáticas de vigilância, assistência, promoção e educação em saúde. Observou-se predomínio do modelo de comunicação utilitarista, centralizador e funcional, com foco na transmissão de informações. O Estado tem o dever de promover uma comunicação comunitária e emancipatória, considerando a diversidade de sujeitos, o contexto local e o desenvolvimento de redes comunicativas, respeitando o direito humano e social à comunicação, à informação e à voz, segundo os princípios e diretrizes do SUS.
O sobrepeso e a obesidade afetaram cerca de 340 milhões de crianças e adolescentes no mundo em 2016. Nesse sentido, sendo a obesidade uma doença crônica, deve-se compreender os fatores relacionados a essa questão de saúde pública, dentre os quais: sedentarismo, baixo poder socioeconômico e acesso ao sistema de saúde. O presente estudo objetivou compreender as principais abordagens da prevenção e manejo da obesidade na atenção básica de saúde. Foi realizada uma revisão narrativa da literatura, utilizando os descritores nas bases de dados PubMed, SciELO e Periódico Capes, a qual obteve 342 artigos, sendo 31 destes escolhidos para o embasamento desta revisão. De acordo com a etiologia multifatorial da obesidade, estudos recentes demonstraram a importância de intervenção terapêutica em diversas esferas, através da atenção primária, apoio familiar, ambiente escolar, tecnologias, intervenção farmacológica ou cirúrgica. Além disso, destaca-se as dificuldades encontradas para realizar a prevenção e o tratamento correto da obesidade na infância. Destarte, é indispensável o acompanhamento multidisciplinar em conjunto com as escolas e a família, promovendo a saúde dos jovens e crianças, prevenindo a obesidade na vida adulta, bem como a integridade individual e as comorbidades e doenças associadas à doença.
