This paper reports the results of studies performed to investigate the potential of applying thin layer chromatography (TLC) detection in combination with selected extraction and cleanup methods, for providing an alternative cost-effective analytical procedure for screening and confirmation of pesticide residues in plant commodities. The extraction was carried out with ethyl acetate and an on-line extraction method applying an acetone-dichloromethane mixture. The extracts were cleaned up with SX-3 gel, an adsorbent mixture of active carbon, magnesia, and diatomaceous earth, and on silica micro cartridges. The Rf values of 118 pesticides were tested in eleven elution systems with UV, and eight biotest methods and chemical detection reagents. Cabbage, green peas, orange, and tomatoes were selected as representative sample matrices for fruits and vegetables, while maize, rice, and wheat represented cereal grains. As an internal quality control measure, marker compounds were applied on each plate to verify the proper elution and detection conditions. The Rf values varied in the different elution systems. The best separation (widest Rf range) was achieved with silica gel (SG)--ethyl acetate (0.05-0.7), SG--benzene, (0.02-0.7) and reverse phase RP-18 F-254S layer with acetone: methanol: water/30:30:30 (v/v) (0.1-0.8). The relative standard deviation of Rf values (CV(Rf)) within laboratory reproducibility was generally less than 20%, except below 0.2 Rf, where the CVRf rapidly increased with decreasing Rf values. The fungi spore inhibition, chloroplast inhibition, and enzyme inhibition were found most suitable for detection of pesticides primarily for confirming their identity or screening for known substances. Their use for determination of pesticide residues in samples of unknown origin is not recommended.

Hoola Restaurant provides traditional food and uses the service system of self-service. The concepts that are supporting and suitable use in Hoola Restaurant are natural and traditional concepts. The interior design created is expected to realize the concepts and give an added value to Hoola Restaurant.
Mantao Pare adalah perusahaan yang bergerak pada bidang kuliner dan ingin melebarkan sayap bisnisnya. Terletak di Jl. Bonto Langkasa no.11, Makassar. Bangunan eksisting sendiri merupakan rumah tinggal yang ingin didesain ulang menjadi kafe dan resto. Dalam perancangan ini klien menginginkan bangunan yang menggunakan pasif energy secara maksimal. Namun, tetap memiliki estetika dan berkarakter serta tak melupakan efektifitas dan kenyamanan. Melalui observasi serta melalui proses pengembangan desain akhirnya penulis mampu memecahkan masalah serta keinginan klien untuk membuat bangunan kafe Mantao Pare lebih baik. Bentuk solusi yang diberikan di presentasikan dalam desain interior yang di buat pada denah, isi ruang dan solusi pasif energy.
Heritage buildings are designed mostly to be adaptive with the local climate. The main purpose of these adaptive strategies is to create users' thermal comfort as well as solving the problem of high rain precipitation in the tropical climate area. These thermal adaptation strategies will definitely influence room daylight condition. External shading device used in heritage building is one of thermal adaptation strategies, but it will also obstruct the daylight penetration. Design solution should be thought to maximise daylight condition. However, the design solution for heritage building has its own limitations where certain guidelines must be adhered, especially when resizing the existing windows to obtain better daylight condition is needed. This research studies the daylight condition on the designated schools and finding the most feasible solutions to overcome the lighting problems. The existing condition of the daylight was measured using lux meter and the data obtained were analysed descriptively by comparing to the related references in order to gain a maximum result. A simulation by using computer software was also conducted for simulating daylight level in both buildings. Based on the measurements that have been conducted, it shows that the daylight level on the designated buildings was below the standard and the current artificial lighting system was also failed to create the standard illuminance level The solutions for this problems are resizing the window or creating an artificial lighting system. Although in this research proposes 2 solutions to overcome the problems, the latter solution is considered as the most feasible solution to treat heritage building to be a visually comfortable building without major alteration on the building fabrics since both studied buildings are listed as a National Heritage Monument.
Penulisan karya tulis ini bertujuan untuk memaparkan perancangan desain interior bangunan hotel dengan konsep yang unik dan baru, yang berangkat dari sebuah cerita dongeng. Adapun yang menjadi latar belakang penulisan ini karena adanya keterbatasan ruang lingkup dan pengembangan konsep desain pada bangunan hotel di Banjarmasin. Padahal jumlah wisatawan maupun pengguna hotel yang memerlukan kenyamanan dan keunikan konsep hotel cukup meningkat menurut analisa yang telah dilakukan. Adanya pembangunan Hotel SIENNA Banjramasin ini menjadi kesempatan untuk menjawab problem yang ada. Laporan perancangan ini akan menjabarkan mengenai konsep desain dan aplikasinya terhadap desain interior bangunan hotel tersebut. Desain berangkat dari sebuah konsep yang berasal dari dongeng. Kehadiran penulis sebagai penyedia jasa desain interior memiliki fitur tambahan berupa layanan desain grafis yang disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan desain serta keinginan klien. Terdapat tuntutan mengenai bagaimana cara menciptakan sebuah grafis yang memperkuat konsep desain serta menjadi elemen yang memperkuat identitas perusahaan klien. Maka dari itu desain menjelaskan bagaimana analisa sebelum pengembangan dilakukan dan apa saja yang perlu digali lebih dalam lagi.
