Estudo analítico-descritivo, no qual se objetiva refletir sobre a aplicação do Modelo de Atividades de Vida, de Roper, Logan e Tierney, e do Modelo de Autocuidado, de Orem, como base conceitual na prática de Enfermagem com famílias, em atenção primária de saúde. O interesse pelo estudo emergiu da necessidade de dotar a Unidade do Cuidado de Enfermagem do Centro de Desenvolvimento Familiar (UCE/CEDEFAM) de um corpo teórico que favoreça o desenvolvimento de atividades de ensino, pesquisa e cuidado. Foi possível constatar que existe coerência semântica entre os modelos, o que torna compatível a sua utilização concomitante, mesmo que em etapas diferentes do processo de cuidar. Esta constatação permitirá ampliar a base conceitual atualmente empregada no cuidado de Enfermagem à família no CEDEFAM.
Introdução: O incentivo ao aleitamento deve ser realizado desde o período de pré-natal, bem como durante a internação na maternidade para minimizar as dificuldades relacionadas ao manejo. Contudo, o desconhecimento dos profissionais de saúde diante do manejo para a orientação e intervenção do aleitamento materno junto às crianças com malformações labiopalatais, favorece ao desmame precoce. Objetivo: analisar o conhecimento dos enfermeiros atuantes no alojamento conjunto diante das práticas do aleitamento materno com recém-nascidos que apresentam lábio leporino e/ou fenda palatina. Métodos: pesquisa descritiva, exploratória, qualitativa, através de entrevista semiestruturada. Foram adotados como critérios de inclusão: ser graduado em enfermagem; trabalhar no alojamento conjunto e estar presente na Unidade, no momento da coleta; a qual as falas foram organizadas a partir da análise de conteúdo. Resultados: Participaram 07 enfermeiras. Quanto ao tempo de formação acadêmica houve uma variação de 8 meses até 31 anos, especializações todas relataram possuir alguma pós-graduação. Mediante e a análise das falas emergiram duas categorias: Aleitamento materno e suas nuances e o Manejo do aleitamento materno pelos enfermeiros em situações especiais. Conclusão: existe grande dificuldade quanto aos cuidados prestados pelos enfermeiros acerca do manejo do aleitamento em crianças com fenda labiopalatais, essa a inexperiência pode ser evidenciada, ainda, no período de formação acadêmica, bem como educação continuada. Torna-se imprescindível a participação dos enfermeiros nessa assistência, como também a preparação teórica e prática, durante a formação acadêmica e no período de atuação profissional.
Objectives: to describe the profile of women affected with premature childbirth and neonatal outcomes at a referral maternity in the city of Fortaleza-CE, Brazil. Methods: descriptive and retrospective documentary type study, with a quantitative approach, carried out from January to December, 2017, with 253 medical records of women who had premature childbirth in a referral maternity. Results: the average age was 28, with the prevalence of women living in a stable union, graduated from high school and without formal work. The gestational mean average was three pregnancies, gestational age of 34 weeks and three days, and six prenatal consultations, starting in the first trimester. The major intercurrence was pre-eclampsia. In relation to the neonatal data, there was a prevalence of male newborns, with an average of 2.251 kg and a score of seven on the 1-minute Apgar and eight on the 5-minute Apgar. Newborns in going to a hospital accommodation after childbirth and in room air, spending an average of 12.71 days in the hospital. Conclusion: in this case of this research, knowing the woman’s profile and the outcomes in premature newborns is useful to encourage public policies and reduce the sequelae on mother and baby
