ABSTRACTThe aim of this study was to investigate phonological reorganization indices in children diagnosed with phonological disorders. Speech production and perception data were collected so as to obtain a representative sample of phonological reorganization cases in a target and a control group. Results indicate that the target-group uses the same production and perception processes as the controls, but with more fluctuations. The investigation of phonological reorganization provides important insights into deviant acquisition, as well as support for therapeutic interventions.
