O artigo analisa os resultados da pesquisa “Desigualdades Sociais e Programas de Transferência de Renda Mínima: a experiência do Pará e do Amapá”. A pesquisa tem como alvo o Programa Bolsa Família, do Governo Federal, e o Programa Renda para Viver Melhor, do governo do Estado do Amapá.
Neste artigo, buscamos trazer para a discussão aspectos relativos à sub-representação feminina na política, com destaque para a particularidade brasileira. Para tanto, foi realizada uma abordagem que traz elementos históricos da luta feminina em torno da participação política, da movimentação internacional em busca de contribuir com a paridade de gênero, da implementação de cotas de gênero no Brasil. Por fim, analisamos os reflexos da divisão sexual do trabalho na inserção das mulheres nos espaços de poder político. A metodologia do trabalho consistiu em revisão bibliográfica, assim como pesquisa documental em sites de organismos nacionais e internacionais. Concluímos que, no Brasil, apesar de se ter avanços, a desigualdade política ainda persiste e demonstra que não se trata apenas de desigualdade sexual, mas também racial.
Resultados de investigações sociais, realizadas em vários países, concernentes aos programas de transferência de renda mínima, ressaltam controvérsias relacionadas à eficácia na redução da pobreza, ao caráter assistencial e a concepção não universal e condicional de implantação, que remetem aos desafios relacionados à natureza das políticas públicas e programas sociais, particularmente os implantados na América Latina e no Brasil. Este artigo é produto da interlocução entre a reflexão teórica e os dados empíricos proporcionada pelo projeto “Desigualdades sociais e programas de transferência de renda mínima na Amazônia: a experiência do Pará e do Amapá”, que tem explicitado as contradições presentes no programa Bolsa Família e Bolsa Trabalho. Tem como objetivo apresentar uma revisão da literatura, que tem se debruçado sobre as concepções de necessidade e renda mínima, bem como salientar a contribuição de Marx e de autores marxistas acerca da discussão de necessidades sociais a partir de uma perspectiva humanista.
<p>Este artigo aborda as tendências de análise sobre o lugar da mulher no mercado de trabalho nos anos 1990 a 2000. Tomando como base estudos bibliográficos, documentais e pesquisas de campo, objetiva refletir sobre a experiência de mulheres trabalhadoras residentes em dois municípios paraenses, afetados por projetos econômicos minero-metalúrgicos. Os resultados indicam que, nos pólos “desenvolvimentistas” do Pará, evidencia-se uma “feminização” do desemprego.</p>
