A new social conscience is created, which will be used by a net society, at local and global levels, crossing both informatics and education contexts. So, this work proposes the construction of a tool for communication between listeners and speakers through the Brazilian Sign Language (LIBRAS) and the French Sign Language (LFS), making a simultaneous translation between the Brazilian written language and the French written language integrated through a web application, with the aid of the recognition of signals by techniques of image recognition and use of webservices. In addition, it raises a bibliography of the struggle of disabled people, the importance of non-verbal communication in human life, as well as an analysis of several translators available in the electronic mean, raising their strengths and weaknesses by comparing them in standard color, structure and navigation used. At the end of the study, a general evaluation is carried out on the application of a questionnaire to the users and a case study with TRADUZ.
In the world, on process of petroleum refining industries, several catastrophic accidents occur constantly, resulting from processing with highly toxic substances, which ends up causing environmental impacts and destroying lives. The explosion, is the type of increased accident that most causes immediate deaths, leading companies to pay damages and rebuild their destroyed assets again. So, the objective of this work is to demonstrate the use of virtual simulations to identify and quantify the possible effects of physical effects and explosion damages, resulting from the Petroleum Refining process operation of the diesel hydrotreatment unit, Abreu e Lima Refinery (ALR or RNEST in Brazil, country of Latin American), a city located in northeastern Brazil. Simulations were performed with the Aloha software in three pipes of the ALR. Abstract. Based on the teaching-learning process of Mathematics and the difficulties faced in this process, this paper presents a prototype of a digital game titled 'Tangram
This article describes a systematic literature review (SLR), a methodology to be used in the survey of articles, monographs, dissertations and theses, in scientific databases, to provide a reference bibliography for the construction of multimedia learning objects applied to Stewart platforms, using Software Engineering methods. The bases existent in the literature between the years of 2009 and 2012 were analyzed. The methodology used was based on the adaptation of a revision protocol that suggests for a good SLR, to follow some steps, being: planning, primary reading, formulation of questions for checking if the work fits the subject and classification. The use of SLR assisted in the bibliographic survey process bringing successful results and relevant publications with high impact factors, thus making a solid basis for several works in the research fields.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
