A Gestão da Informação (GI) é definida como um conjunto de conceitos, princípios, métodos e técnicas usadas na prática administrativa que auxiliam no processo de tomada de decisão quando colocados em prática pelos líderes das organizações. Objetivo: Realizar levantamento bibliográfico sobre os Sistemas de Informação e sua importância para a Gestão dos Serviços de Saúde. Métodos: Trata-se de uma Revisão Integrativa, onde se realizou busca eletrônica de artigos publicados e indexados em banco de dados eletrônicos da LILACS, no período de 2000 a 2013. Resultando no total de 34 referências potenciais. Por não atender aos critérios de inclusão 5 artigos foram excluídos, totalizando 29 artigos, publicada em português. Resultados e Discussão: Os artigos encontrados foram categorizados por similaridade de conteúdo, sendo constituídas três categorias de análise: A importância da Gestão da Informação, com 10 artigos (34,5%); Sistemas de Informação em Saúde (SIS), com 9 artigos (31%) e Implantação do Prontuário Eletrônico, com 10 artigos (34,5%). Conclusão: Acredita-se que os Sistemas de Informação na Gestão que qualificam os profissionais da saúde sejam usados como ferramenta de trabalho, sendo capazes de transformar e sustentar o Sistema Único de Saúde (SUS) dando retornos positivos e em prazos aceitáveis.
