Bei feuerverzinkten Stahlträgern u.a. für den Parkhausbau sind in der Vergangenheit Risse aufgetreten, hauptsächlich Längsrisse im Steg der Träger, die von geschweißten Teil kopfplatten ausgingen, vereinzelt auch Risse am Untergurt quer zum Träger, die an lokalen Druckstellen infolge Kaltverformung zum Vorkrümmen der Träger ihren Anfang nahmen.
Der Aufsatz geht den wechselseitigen Ursachen der Rißbildung bei der Verzinkung entsprechend dem derzeitigen Stand der Forschung nach und gibt vorläufige Empfehlungen zur Werkstoffwahl, konstruktiven Ausbildung sowie Fertigung und Feuerverzinkung, um in Zukunft Risse zu vermeiden.
Es gibt verschiedene Strukturformen, aus denen Implantat-oder Konuskronengestützte Suprakonstruktionen gebildet werden. Die meisten der tragenden Gerüste werden nach Erfahrung oder mehr willkürlich in Abhängigkeit von der individuellen klinischen Situation konstruiert. Elastischer Leichtbau ist eine Methode, die in der Technik für den Bau hoch belasteter Elemente verwendet wird. Auf der Basis vorgefertigter linearer Elemente wurden 4 Strukturtypen getestet, aus denen Gerüste gebildet werden können. Ziel dieser In-vitro-Untersuchungen war es, die Elastizität dieser Strukturelemente unter Belastung zu bestimmen. Dabei kamen Verfahren der elektronischen Messtechnik zur Anwendung. Die Größe der Elastizität, dargestellt durch den Betrag des gemessenen Biegewegs, lag für bandförmige Linearstrukturen (112 μm/50 N), für perforierte bandförmige Linearstrukturen (139,9 μm/50 N) und für so genannte Lochretentionen (143,6 μm/50 N) in der gleichen Größenordnung. Einen signifikant geringeren Biegewert zeigten die Stäbe mit 26,0 μm/50 N. Es kann angenommen werden, dass vertikal konstruierte Strukturelemente, zusammengesetzt aus Lochretention mit aufgelegtem Stab (8,6 μm/50 N), eine Festigkeit der Gerüstkonstruktion bringen, bei unter kaufunktioneller Beanspruchung annehmbarer Elastizität.
