Let p be a prime number, R = GF(q) be a field of q = p r elements and S = GF(q n ) be an extension of R. LetŠ be the ring of all linear transformations of the space R S. A linear recurring sequence v of order m over the moduleŠS is said to be a skew linear recurring sequence (skew LRS) of order m over S. The period T (v) of such sequence satisfies the inequality T (v) τ = q mn −1. If T (v) = τ we call v a skew LRS of maximal period (skew MP LRS) . Here we investigate periodic properties and rank (linear complexity) of the sequencea skew MP LRS. Based on the obtained results we propose new methods for filtering generators construction based on skew MP LRS.
A pseudo-random sequences constructed as a digit sequence of a skew linear recurrence of maximal period over Galois ring are studied. We find the periods of such sequences and lower bounds for their ranks as a sequences over field. A rank of the first digit sequence of a skew linear recurrence of maximal period is determined exactly under certain conditions on the digit set.

Последовательность $v$ над $S$, удовлетворяющую закону рекурсии $$ \forall i\in\mathbb{N}_0 :\;\;\;v(i+m)= psi_{m-1}(v(i+m-1))+...+\psi_0(v(i)),\;\;\;\psi_0,...,\psi_{m-1}\in\check{S},$$ будем называть скрученной линейной рекуррентной последовательностью над $S$ с характеристическим многочленом $\Psi(x) = x^m - \sum_{j=0}^{m-1}\psi_jx^j$.
