Abstract. Crisis in the society leads to economic instability and, as a result, to the decrease in both the quality of life and the level of human development. The article analyzes the problem of the quality of life as a complex category and the dynamics of human development over the past decade. Based on the analysis of scientific works, the interrelationship of human development and the quality of life is shown. It is revealed that the quality of life becomes evident in the subjective satisfaction of population with life and possibility to achieve full potential; the quality of life is reflected in a number of objective characteristics. Being a complex category, the quality of life is a guarantee not only of human society development but also of human physical and social health. On the one hand, human potential and its development is the basis of social-economic growth, and, on the other, it is the basis of the population safety. In current research, a comparative analysis of the HDI ranking of a number of countries during the economic crisis is presented. The population health is a complex indicator of social well-being and the basis for the quality of life. The level of population health in some countries of Western and Eastern Europe and its impact on the quality of life is the subject of our comparative study. Interrelations between health and socio-economic characteristics and quality of life indicators (education, employment, poverty, current health expenditure, life expectancy at birth, etc.) are identified on the basis of correlation analysis. The dynamics of health over the past decade taking into account specifics of different European countries are studied. Based on undertaken correlation analysis, a comparative model of population life quality for 10 European countries is offered, namely; Belgium, Great Britain, Germany, France, Switzerland (the Western European countries); and Bulgaria, Poland, Russia, Romania, Slovakia (the Eastern European countries). The authors conclude that the Western European model is characterized by steady growth of the Human Development Index (HDI), life expectancy, the level of education and employment of population in economic activity, small growth of current expenditures on health care, contradictory dynamics of health self-assessment. The Eastern European model is characterized by steady increase of HDI, life expectancy and self-esteem of population, with a steady reduction in education inequality.
To confront global challenges in the field of environmental security, humanity needs reproduction chains of a new type that correspond to the models of the green economy and the principles of sustainable development. The most relevant concept that meets these conditions is a circular economy. A new round of industrial development provides additional opportunities to introduce principles of circular reproduction. The proliferation of robots and the introduction of artificial intelligence systems will facilitate the implementation of circular innovations. The purpose of the paper is a study of current trends in the transformation of global value chains based on the symbiosis of virtual and physical production systems which form new operating models and contribute to sustainable economic growth. The research methodology includes general scientific methods of cognition, systemic and situational approaches, methods of structural and functional analysis, empirical generalization and comparison, as well as tabular and graphical methods of visualization of statistical and calculated data. The main results of the study are to gain new knowledge about the role of interaction between digital and physical spaces in ensuring the achievement of goals of sustainable development and the implementation of principles of circular reproduction. Studying robotic circular reproduction will increase the relevance of the concepts of a green economy and circular reproduction, which will promote effective implementation of the above concepts in the Russian Federation.
In modern society, there occur crisis phenomena that respectively lead to the aggravation of the problem of employment of the population, and the lack of control over the hidden and real unemployment. In this article, the links between the unemployment rate and socio-demographic characteristics are revealed on the basis of correlation analysis. The authors reveal the peculiarities of the established dependencies are revealed on the example of several European countries and Russia with regard to its the Central Federal District, including, in particular, the relationship between the level of education, gender and age structure, and general patterns of indicators such as social tension and migration processes are revealed. The proposed approach allows us not only to give a more accurate description of the rate of unemployment, but also to predict possible changes. The correlation analysis of the unemployment rate and social indicators for the period from 2005 to 2016 was carried out with regard to ten European countries: Belgium,
