Resumo Câmara Bioclimática de Baixo Custo (CBBC) é um laboratório de estudos comparativos de conforto ambiental e desempenho de edificações. Neste artigo, apresenta-se um diagnóstico geral das condições de conforto térmico e acústico proporcionadas pela configuração inicial da CBBC, a partir de alguns resultados da avaliação pós-ocupação (APO) - a qual também englobava aspectos de conforto lumínico, ergonômico e funcional. Inicialmente, faz-se uma breve contextualização sobre APO. No delineamento experimental, apresentam-se a estrutura e as funcionalidades da CBBC, detalha-se o monitoramento de variáveis ambientais, o protocolo de operação da CBBC e a metodologia adotada na APO. Na sequência, constam os resultados da APO realizada por 136 voluntários em agosto de 2018, sob condições de ventilação forçada, porém sem interferência de climatização artificial. A maioria dos ocupantes declarou sentir-se confortável com a temperatura do ar interna (84,6%). Em contrapartida, mais de um quinto dos ocupantes declararam estar insatisfeitos (19,1%) ou muito insatisfeitos (2,2%) com o nível de ruído na CBBC.
A pesquisa busca elaborar um diagnóstico de aspectos positivos e negativos, com foco no conforto ambiental, avaliando percepção do usuário frente a aspectos térmicos e lumínicos relatados em ambientes-teste semi-controlados em duas campanhas com condições climáticas distintas. O laboratório é composto por dois módulos, configurados de forma similar a espaços de escritório, os quais foram projetados sobre apoios giratórios permitindo rotação de fachada. No estudo, 263 participantes voluntários foram submetidos a dois tipos de questionário. O primeiro, um teste psicológico que buscou avaliar diferenças na capacidade de resposta relacionada às condições ambientais. O segundo, buscando levantar aspectos subjetivos percebidos pelos voluntários em relação a diferentes aspectos de conforto ambiental. A partir desta análise, verificou-se de que forma as variáveis de conforto levantadas influenciaram na percepção do ambiente assim como nos resultados do teste psicológico, com resultados mais significativos encontrados na campanha de verão.
