Antecedentes y Objetivos: El género Scutellinia es cosmopolita. Siete especies han sido reportadas en México. Se presenta una revisión taxonómica parcial del género para el país.Métodos: Se estudiaron siete especies, siguiendo las técnicas tradicionales en micología.Resultados clave: Tres especies se citan por primera vez en el país: Scutellinia balansae, S. colensoi y S. pennsylvanica. Las principales características usadas para la identificación de las especies en este estudio son los pelos marginales y la ornamentación de las ascosporas. Se realizan las descripciones taxonómicas de los tres nuevos registros y de las especies ya reportadas para el país.Conclusiones: El conocimiento taxonómico del género Scutellinia en México sigue siendo escaso, por lo que es necesaria la elaboración de más estudios enfocados a la sistemática fúngica en el país.
Tremelloscypha gelatinosa (Murrill) Oberw. et K. Wells. Todas son registros nuevos para la reserva. Auricularia cornea y T. gelatinosa son nuevos registros para el estado de Campeche.
ResumenEste texto constituye una contribución al conocimiento de los macromicetos en Los Altos de Chiapas y la selva Lacandona. Se enlistan especies de interés cultural para diferentes pueblos mayas y mestizos, y se presentan datos comparativos tanto ecológicos como etnobiológicos entre tierras altas y tierras bajas de Chiapas. Se realizaron entrevistas y recolectas de 2009 a 2013 en 8 comunidades y 17 tipos de vegetación (primaria y ambientes transformados) de ambos pisos ecológicos. Se registraron 231 taxones de interés cultural en 9 categorías de uso. El 52% de las especies tienen algún uso. Ciento cuarenta especies fueron recolectadas en selva alta y mediana perennifolia, principalmente en sustratos lignícolas. Asimismo, 91 especies provienen de bosques templados. A pesar de haber recolectado un mayor número de morfoespecies en tierras bajas, en tierras altas se utiliza un número mayor de éstas. En general, los patrones observados tienen una explicación basada en aspectos ecológicos de la comunidad fúngica, sin embargo, algunos otros son eminentemente de orden cultural.
