Ele se propõe a investigar duas formas de pensar o conceito de comunidade imaginada de Benedict Anderson a partir da questão racial: a miscigenação de Gilberto Freyre e o dualismo branco/negro de Fanon. Partindo da análise dos livros Casa grande e senzala e Pele negra máscaras brancas, o texto mostra como o Movimento Negro tem contestado a perspectiva de democracia racial e reivindicado uma política identitária que leva em consideração a hierarquização da vida da população branca e negra.
Resumo Partindo de uma pesquisa mais ampla sobre as vivências de mulheres negras na assistência ao período gestacional e parto, este artigo aborda alguns aspectos do racismo na rotina de atenção à mulher negra durante este ciclo. Trata-se de uma pesquisa empírica de abordagem qualitativa com mulheres e mães que se autodeclaram negras e antirracistas. Nas narrativas, os pontos apresentados envolviam, na sua maioria, estereótipos associados ao corpo negro construídos sob um imaginário social racista. Nas relações interpessoais, discursos permeados por estereótipos racistas desumanizam a mulher negra, gerando barreiras na sua saúde reprodutiva.

De acordo com os autores, tal simplificação não leva em conta outras categorias identitárias como classe social, gênero, etnicidade, etc. Aesse respeito HalJ3 propõe uma noção de identidade que contrapõe o projeto moderno de permanência e estabilidade. Oconceito de identidade agora está relacionado às diversas possibilidades de ser e vir a ser de acordo com a interação de discursos, histórias, práticas eposicionalidades que não são atualizados sem problemas. Agora é o momento de contradições eantagonismos.Tomar as crianças em situação de rua como categoria antropológica faz-se fundamental, pois o modo como as olhamos e com elas nos relacionamos reflete a natureza de nosso sistema social.
