Nowadays, the use of robotics in classroom is more frequently, it allows to develop logical thinking of students; however, in Apurimac-Peru, the students use it rarely, because teachers do not know programming languages, do not have the Lego kit or do not have motivation to improve the teaching process. This research designed and implemented a software prototype to teach Robotics in a funny way, it was evaluated with students of first to fifth grade of secondary level school in Apurimac Peru. Usability and learning metrics were applied to validate this proposal, obtaining the average of 3,132 and 3,622 respectively, it means that the users evaluated positively the prototype.
ABSTRACTThe objective of this research is to determine the impact generated by the use of a Datamart in the academic management of the higher education sector. Academic management with the support of a Datamart must determine the high degree of reliability at the level of decision making by business managers. The main method used to do Business Intelligence (BI), under the command of the Ralph Kimball Methodology generating the data warehouse "Datamart" that has been contemplated until phase 5 of 9, in the same way, the coding scheme has been used . snow so that the dimensions are normalized in multiple tables. On the other hand, Pentaho EE V.7 Suite has been used, an open source tool that manages the ETL (Pentaho Data Integration) process and the reports (Pentaho Report Designer) that acted in the Datamart. The results obtained determined the impact of the development of Datamart in the Academic Management of EPIS; with the use of this tool, efficient response times were determined with a high degree of reliability due to the validation of business rules (Dimensions established by the Ralph Kimball methodology) with ISO / IEC 9126-4 (quality metrics in use) , finally according to the experimental research design applied in this research, it was concluded that Academic Management is Efficient, unlike the decision making of EPIS business managers.
